Doctor was professional and to the point. Explained everything to me.

Spinal fusion in February 2026 to treat painful sciatica. Gentle recovery, minimal surgically related discomfort. Dr Lavoie has been attentive, provided poignant commentary on my recovery and rehabilitation. Always leaves time for questions; never seems rushed. Addressed my individual needs and concern with compassion. Excellent experience; excellent surgical results. Niw pain free and playing tennis !

My first visit with Doctor Lavoie I was àexpecting to go over the MRI to show me the findings and explain why I'm having the pain. My additional visit was with Dr. Turnbull because I was having extreme left knee pain with sharp pain in left hip and down my leg. Dr. Turnbull prescribed an MRI for both knee and back. I did not receive any results until I called the office about 5 days after the test was done. Dr. Turnbull then suggested I see Dr Lavoie before going over my knee MRI results due to the back results. Dr Lavoie mentioned pinched nerves and suggest I see Dr. Waldbaum for shot and therapy. I have taken Pain meds that have not really helped with the pain. I do have a high pain tolerance but I've had this pain for months which has affected my sleep. I see Dr. Turnbull on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 for knee MRI results. The soonest I could get in to see Dr. Waldbaum is on August 18th. I was expecting a demonstration of my back MRI with more explanation

Dr. Lavoie was very personable and listened to all my symptoms and gave me my options where we put a plan together for my care. It was great interaction as it’s always hard to find a doctor that really listens. I’m not looking forward to surgery however I know that I’ll be in good hands with Dr. Lavoie.

Staff very friendly, wait time was less than 10 min. Dr was friendly, attentive, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Had lumbar fusion 2 weeks ago and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend Dr Lavoie for your Orthopedic needs.
