Dr. Stephen Francis Staten, MD

Dr. Staten has been my primary physician for almost 20 years. Knows all about my family history and mental health past. Loved him for years. Last year when I told him I had started to have more frequent depressive episodes and even vague suicidal thoughts, he told me “maybe try to focus more on the good in your life. You have things pretty good you know”. Fast forward 3 months to me having to be in therapy for having expressed daily suicidal thoughts and a plan to a friend... maybe it wouldn’t have gotten this bad if he had been taken my concerns seriously.

I've been seeing Dr. Staten for about 9 years. He is one of the most understanding and helpful doctors I have seen. He listens to you, takes his time with you and doesn't rush when he is with you. I absolutely love him.

Dr. Staten is an excellent listener, genuinely concerned with your well-being and always looking and suggesting ways to improve upon your current health.

Makes you feel like you're a liar about your own personal experiences and ailments. Wates your time and money telling you to do things you've already been doing. Asked like he's too busy to sit down and address all of your issues. Occasionally tells you religious rhetoric that is not welcomed or asked for.

I find Dr Staten very easy to talk with and he is very focused on providing best solutions and promoting good habits.

Dr. Staten is a very good doctor. I've been seeing him for a while. I would tell anyone to see him.
