Spinal fusion surgery Pre- and post- surgical care was made very clear and PT referral was in place when needed.Mayfield staff members (including PT) were professional, helpful and friendly; they returned calls in timely manner.Dr. Bailey was clear in explanations of what was to happen, punctual, and very thorough in his examinations of my conditions. I highly recommend him as a neurosurgeon. The Mayfield phone network was a bit difficult to navigate, but I always eventually got where I needed to be.

Dr Bailey and his office did everything imaginable to take care of me when I was admitted to the ER with an extruded lumbar disc. He is a wonderful surgeon and a kind person. He took plenty of time to discuss the procedure and answer questions. He is expert in his field and inspires confidence and this helped me to feel secure. I am so grateful to Dr Bailey and his team.

He is the most caring doctor you can go to. He is patient and understanding. Because of him, I am able to work and live pain free. As long as you do what he tells you to after the surgery, there will be no problems. He is excellent and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. His staff is always helpful as well.

2016 walked my mother into hospital for surgery and she never walked out. She had a stroke nobody recognized. Shows while at recovery a nurse finally mention about possible stroke call and they advised just keep eye on her. Recovery nurse kept saying she’s fine and asked why she couldn’t move her right arm or leg and kept telling me probably from selling from surgery. Took mother in for surgery on sept 2016. She passed away Nov 2016. I will never get over this I feel like I shouldn’t have taken her in. She had neuropathy and he made it sound like no big deal and it was for better quality of life for her. I live with quilt everyday.

Dr. Bailey was a very understanding neurosurgeon. He's been in this business for a long time and it shows. I had surgery around Thanksgiving last year. While the healing process was very rough afterwards, I am very thankful for the help that he has done for me. I'm back to full activities with really no problems. I may have a little tightness from sleeping overnight, but otherwise, I am doing so well and so appreciative for his help/expertise. I highly recommend him for any back help.

All I have to say is they are EXCELLENT! The entire staff is caring and helpful. I was really scared about back surgery because you never here anything good about it. My results have been awesome my pain and all other symptoms were gone by day 7 post surgery. I am now in therapy rebuilding my muscle tone that I lost over the years of chronic pain. I am 100% better than I was prior to surgery and would recommend Dr. Bailey, Mayfiled Brain & Spine and the entire staff!!!!!!!!! Awesome job!
