Steven C. Schmidt, MD

I was in a car accident that left me with injuries to my fingers. I would have had to amputate them if not for Dr. Schmidt's expertise. He was able to drill titanium pins down the center of my fingers and grafted an artificial skin over the exposed fingers and then later on grafted skin from my lower abdomen over that artificial graft. He is straight forward and to the point. No time for nonsense. Exactly what I wanted in a physician.

Dr. Steven C. Schmidt has no business being in the medical field considering the level of disrespect with which he treats his patients. He seemed relatively reserved during my consultation but before surgery and post-op was totally rude and careless.. NOT a good state to be in when having to entrust someone with your body.

I had a procedure called CO2 Laser Resurfacing. Dr Steven C Schmidt did the procedure. He was very thorough, and professional. He kept asking how I was doing and I thought that was nice considering it felt like he cared about how I was feeling. Which you don’t get everywhere these days. It was a little painfully towards the middle part or so but I was told that if I needed more numbing pain to just say so. I chose not to because I just wanted to get it over with without interruption, but it’s your choice which is also nice. They send you home with the aquaphor, to put in after 2 hours of the procedure to keep your face moisturized while healing, a vinagar solution, gauze, moisturizing lotion, sunblock, and a gentle face clenser. In fact everything you need for post op care so that you are not trying to run up to the pharmacy. All instruction for after car were explained before the procedure as well as after and I was told don’t hesitate to call with any questions because with taking… meds before surgery you can forget. I was very pleased with Dr Schmidt as well as his assisting nurse. She was a sweetheart also. When you are done they put cold Compresses on your face and o did take a pain pill before o left the office. My ride home is only 5 mins. and by the time I arrived home and I’m sure with the help of the pain Med I did not have much pain at all. I was a little tired so i did lay down for a short nap. I would definitely recommend Dr Schmidt and his assisting nurse I’m sure all the doctors and nurses are wonderful as well but this is my experiance with these two in particular. I’m am going to post a day by day with pics to show my progress but so far I’m am so pleased.

Dr. Schmidt's professionalism, tact, and overall demeanor was short and condescending. When asked a question, he'd say he already answered that. He was quick to discharge my mother and when complications occurred from surgery he pushed her off on another hospital and then lied about it stating that he does not stand around eating donuts and drinking coffee. No patient should have to be so upset and distrustful of a doctor.

I had Duprytn's contraction and he called it right and fixed my hand. He did a very good job.

Dr. Steven Schmidt performed my surgery and I would hesitate to recommend him. He was too rushed to discuss the surgery plan or answer my questions so I went into surgery feeling very insecure about what the outcome would be. At my post-op appointment he handled the surgery site roughly which was painful, and did not ask how I felt but made offensive comments about how I used to look & that this was much better. His nurses were also rude, I definitely did not feel taken care of and there was no follow-up call to check on my recovery. As for the surgery itself, I would rate the final aesthetic result at 3.8/5

I've always had large breasts, i entered puberty early so i always felt out of place among everyone else. i am currently a 38 G and i have met up with a plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Schmidt, who examined me and said i was a good candidate for surgery so they sent out the report to see if i would be approved by my insurance company. I have United Health care. Yesterday i opened my mail and i recieved a reply from them, and i got approved!! i am so excited!! i started screaming and jumping and crying i am so excited!!!!

Very disappointed in results & no Offer to correct.. Do not recommend This office of you want a thorough Job

Dr. Schmidt was my surgeon for my reconstruction after a breast cancer surgery. I could not be happier with the results. Pre-surgery he spent time explaining all options and the risks/benefits of each. It made my decision easy and I have never wavered. I have recommended Dr. Schmidt to many other patients.
