That other patient must of had bad luck. Dr Wei’s PA Eric did a great job with me!

Dr. Wei’s physician’s assistant, Eric, was giving me gel injections in my knees. There are a series of three each a week apart. The first was bearable, but the second week he seemed to be in a hurry. I felt abused and the pain was just awful. I’ve cancelled the third set of injections. Dr. Wei was the second doctor at this practice that I tried. I will not be using this practice for any other treatments. They seem to be more interested in quantity rather than quality.

I think instead of making an incision along the grain of my deltoid tendon (ie. parallel to the arm) for his arthroscopic instrument, he cut transversely (ie perpendicular to my arm) across the grain of my deltoid tendon near where the it attaches to the acromion. It seems like 1/4 or 1/3 inch of my deltoid detached and is permanently retracted and scarred up. 1/3 inch may not seem like much but I am tiny person, that's a sizeable part of my deltoid tendon, and it's just weakened my deltoid, and it's giving me trouble now, a couple of years later as I try to do deltoid exercises again. I'm very unhappy. For comparison, I had my other shoulder surgery done by someone else (a surgeon who also performed total shoulder replacements) and that surgeon made his incision along the grain of the MUSCLE of the deltoid rather than the tendon of the deltoid. The tendon is considerably smaller than the muscle. Even a small incision hurts a larger proportion of the tendon.

Wouldn't recommend this doctor! Very uncaring, insensitive. Poor exam! Wasn't interested in discussion of problem.

I had seen several other orthopedists for my shoulders before coming to Dr. Wei. He was definitely the best among them.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Wei. He is very nice and caring of your needs. The only thing I didn't like was the wait time. The past two visits, I waited 45 minutes to get my 3-5 minute appointments in. But because I like this doctor, I will tolerate the wait time.

Pursued all non evasive options first. Overall final results following shoulder surjury were outstanding. Thank you Dr. Wei.
