Rudest doctor I've ever encountered. This was my very first appointment with her and I'm switching doctors immediately. Shuchee Madhusudan - a.k.a. “Dr. Madu” is this horrible doctor who clearly hates herself and her work..., believe me, it shows. I was cordial, polite, and had all of my medical forms filled out in advance. From the first moment that I’d met her, she had the biggest most aggro-ego chip on her shoulder. She wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise, she kept interrupting me, she was aggressive, arrogant and short-tempered. From what else I’d read online, she’s basically like this all of the time. Surliest, nastiest disposition and bedside manner. She came across as dismissive, arrogant, curt, patronizing and surprisingly rude. FYI -> ALL of her 200+ anonymous reviews on WMC Health (Westchester Medical Center) are all fake. I’d think anyone would find 200+ 5-star reviews dubious to say the least. Without all those fake reviews, she’d have no patients. Keep… searching, and you’ll spot these fake reviews elsewhere online. “Dr. Madu” has ZERO people skills and couldn’t care less about you as a person, much less her patient.

I am a new patient (6 months) and have had 3 appointments, Each time the staff were very helpful and when I contact them by phone I always get an answer. Dr Madu is a very busy physician she tells you directly what she believes is your health issue and what has to be done. She has never been cold or nasty to me and I prefer the direct approach and knowing what my role is to improve my health. She has never been to busy to answer my questions and a follow-up. I'm sure I will continue to see Dr Madu for my journey to a better life. I highly recommend her she is outstanding doctor.

Abrupt and seems arrogant. Cuts you off in mid-sentence. I’m used to lush doctors offices on 5th Ave and sitting in a dingy room with plastic chairs and a staff that seems to delight in hating patients. No follow-up at all. I have found no evidence she did a residency in endocrinology whatsoever. Will change this comment if I find evidence to the contrary.

I brought my son to this appointment. The doctor spent almost the whole time in front of her laptop. She did not talk to my son at all and only talked to me if I asked a question. She was very uncommunicative. She may know a lot about her field but she needs to improve her communication skills. i was very disappointed and I drove 3 hours to go to the appointment.

I have been seeing Dr. Madu gif over 5 years. She is amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable. She is tough though, she expects you to follow her directions and if you don't, she will let you know she is not happy. She has guided me through the worse of my diabetes and always been available should I need her. I trust her implicitly.

I have gone to numerous doctors for my type 2 diabetes. Dr. "Madu" has gotten me down to great numbers and I am feeling and looking great at the tender age of 63. She is very helpful and concerned. It has taken some time to get scripts filled, but other than that, she gets the job done.

Unfriendly staff and the doctor doesn’t seem to care.

Front office staff very rude. Staff does not greet you, or even acknowlege when you walk into the office. When you approach the window they roll their eyes and act like your an inconvenience to them. It's like they don't want to be there at all. I've never felt so unwelcomed from a Doctors office in my life. Some serious training/development needs to be put in place. In addition the overall appearance of the staff is not professional by any means, some are dressed like they rolled out of bed and just threw anything they could find on. It's not a fashion show but they could dress business casual.

I have seen Dr. Madhusudan several times in the past year, and she has been prompt, personable, and exceptionally good at explaining her diagnosis and treatment approach. She inspired complete confidence in her expertise.

Walked out because doc is rude and not listening. Don’t waste your time.
