Dr. Sunshine Murray, MD

I was referred by my PC because of a long ongoing UTI. When I finally was able to get an appt. 3 months out, They had me come in to do all my paperwork ahead of time, no problem. I had to have a UTI test done because I felt like I had UTI infection. Proved I did. Saw PA, called in script went out to comfirm upcoming appt. that I had waited for over 3 months they had cancelled that appt and rescheduled out to 2 more months. I was PO. Finally got to have the pleasure of seeing her for 5 minutes, I asked her had she looked over my records and no she hadn't. She just didn't have time, to bad. had to have test done, in november it showed Bladder cyst and possible kidney stones, she said she could remove cysts but I chose not to do it because of christmas coming up. Put on low antibiotic for 3 months. Everything has gone down hill since then. Took all together 4 months before right CT with contrast to be done. Staff and scheduling are extremely un organized. I have never done… a bad review before. Shame on that office and staff. There's more I could say but I feel like I have said enough

I feel Dr Murray is probably excellent in her field, but new patient review was done without an exam. My medical record needed correction as it listed a surgery that I had not had. On the second visit, I was left exposed in stirrups waiting for a procedure and given no instructions afterwards just findings and a pat on the leg. The pain was awful - I spent rest of day in bed. When I was checking in for that procedure I went back and forth from desk to desk as advised by staff and then was told that they wouldn't tell me to do that. I don't want to feel like this at a doctor's office even if she may be excellent in their field. The receptionist for this physician is caring, helpful and an asset to her field.

No bedside manner. Little to no help. About $130 for five minutes. Took several weeks for her to get me a referral I needed.

I'm sure this doctor is very knowledgeable, but she has no bedside manner in my opinion. Took several weeks for her to get me a referral to another doctor. Had to pay around $130 for a five minute visit. I have never left a negative review for a physician, but find someone who cares and don't waste your money. The facility is nice, so I gave it a star for that.

At the end of a long and frustrating search for a competent Urologist, for my senior mother, we found our way to Urologic Specialists, and Dr. Sunshine Murray. Dr. Murray and her staff had been recommended to us by an RN and one of our physical therapists who have been making weekly home visits after a serious health issue associated with a severe UTI. Dr Murray performed a comprehensive examination and then gave a detailed explanation of her findings. Additionally, multiple treatment options were presented and explained. Based on today’s visit, I believe we have found a physician, staff, and facility who will be able to substantially improve my mother’s quality of life moving forward into her “golden years”. I highly recommend Dr. Murray and Urologic Specialists to anyone who finds themselves in need of urologic treatment.

I never have given a Dr.a bad review but maybe this could be helpful to other elderly people .Dr.Murray had a terrible bedside manner she gas no patience with the elderly an talk over them when they are trying to tell her about there problems maybe she see to many patients a day not really sure the nurses are very nice an kind the front desk us very nice needs no more help but that is how it is in a lot of medical places !I hope this will help others when deciding where to go if you are elderly

Dr. Murray is very knowledgeable and thorough. The wait time is a bit long in Fort Smith, AR but I greatly appreciate her care.

I went to Dr. Murray as a referral patient for a consultation and already had a diagnosis from my regular ob/gyn. Her bedside manner was horrible and her fake smile was not fooling anyone. You could tell she didn't care at all about what was going on with me. I don't think she even read my file. She made assumptions rather than listening and asking questions. Her communication skills are terrible and her nurse was just as bad. She tried to do an ultrasound for something completely unrelated to my issues. Seemed like she was trying to justify billing my insurance for as much as possible. Then, I was just left in the room after the doctor and nurse were done. I asked another nurse where to check out and she said "Oh, they're waiting for your test results." It would have been nice to know that. I cancelled all my future appointments and changed my insurance so I can have my procedure done by someone I trust. I know they are in business to make money, but at least act like you care.

A++++ doctor...wish more were like her...so knowledgeable, yet so down-to-earth, polite, and friendly! My husband and I came away feeling incredibly blessed to have her for my urologist.
