Dr. Tara Anne Matthews, MD

My grandson has been patient since 6 months old. He is 5 now and loves visiting Dr Matthews. She always spends plenty of time evaluating my grandson.

This doctor did a cursory review and made assessments while talking down her colleagues at Childrens Specialized Hospital. She overlooked important information and was dismissive of the opinions of treating physicians who saw the child on a number of occasions. I would not recommend her at all.

We have been going to dr Matthews for the last 3 years. My son was having difficulty at school and his teacher recommended we see a developmental dr. She took so much time with us the first visit. She got to know our son and our family. She held off on an ADHD diagnosis until she saw him two times and spent a lot of time with him. I appreciated this in a world that quickly labels children. She referred us to OT which helped him a lot and thanks to her he is now a straight A student and in the gifted an talented program. She also helped us as parents understand what he needed and how to help him.
