Dr. Thomas C Bartzokis, MD

Thought I had found the greatest Dr. but unfortunately due to his horrible nurse it makes it impossible to continue seeing this man. She makes all decisions of when you can be seen , and even controls front office of when you may book appointment to see your Dr. Has power to change your medication when in fact has written it so wrong that no pharmacy would ever have filled it. Stay away. When challenged at front desk, answer was ‘this is how we run things here. This is a busy office “.

Although Dr. Bartzokis may be a fine cardiologist, he diagnosed me with afib that, according to two other cardiologists and extensive testing, I DO NOT HAVE. Furthermore, Dr. Bartzokis would not return a phone call and I was told by his medical assistant to go on blood thinners and that he is too busy to speak with patients. REALLY?? The staff is amongst the rudest I have ever encountered anywhere. My internist concurs, and told me that the staff and office are a disaster. This attitude has to come from the top, and after speaking to the office manager, David, I can guarantee that is true. I received a copay bill for $15 that was accidentally overlooked (I generally pay at the time of a visit), circled in red with a handwritten note that said “SHAME ON YOU”! SHAME ON YOU!!! NEED I SAY MORE??

I've been a patient since 2004 and have the absolute trust in his professionalism Excellent bedside matters through diagnosis and has a very comforting personality

He is reputed to be a fine cardiologist. However, I have been seeing him for almost 10 yeas now and find him to be very detached as a person. If I mention anything not related to heart problems he claims to be a cardiologist and cuts me off. I'm getting ready for holistic medicine!!

Dr Bartzokis is a kind and caring doctor who answers all questions and never rushes you

What a pity it is that such terrific cardiologist's group just don't get it. They have the worst office help I have ever encountered. They are rude and mean. If it were not for the fact that the physicians are Harvard educated and terrific I would stop going there. Wake up doctors. There are lots of really NICE qualified people out there looking for jobs.

I was a patient of Dr. Bartzokis for 4 years but when I was having severe cardiac problems his secretary said he had no time to see me! what good is a cardiologist if he can't make time for you during his regular office hours when you are having severe palpitations & your blood pressure is going crazy! I found a new cardiologist who saw me immediately, GOODBYE Dr B

This is the worst office staff I have ever encountered. Starting with making the appointment to the office manager who is borderline abusive. They really could use a lesson in professional courtesy and manners. They are disgraceful and disgusting people. They treated me terrible in every way. What a shame that this staff represents these doctors.
