Dr. Thomas Carroll Lackey II, DO

DO NOT TRUST these people to do any laser treatments on you, they will scar you. They are not dermatologists and are not trained correctly to use the lasers in their office. I had a treatment done on my face, which I had done many times with other providers and never had any issues. The day after the procedure I had burns and blisters all over my face, which became infected. Francesca, purposely burned my face, and gave me 3rd degree burns. After the procedure, she asked if I was allergic to Sulfa, which is used for burns, I’m allergic to it, and I wasn’t given an alternative prescription until 5 days later, and if she had bothered to look in my file, she would have seen that I was allergic to it. Dr Lackey is no better, he can’t tell the difference between an infection and an allergic reaction, and relies on cultures, which don’t always work. After seeing them for a month, I wasn’t improving, I had to go to a dermatologist, as soon as he saw me, he gave me all the proper… medications. The dermatologist confirmed everything Dr. Lackey and Francesca prescribed me and were telling me to do was wrong. Because of the burns I have an inch long scar on one side of my face, a ¼ inch scar on the other side, and a ½ inch scar on my chin. The shape of my nose has changed, and my face will never look the same. Save yourself the grief and misery and go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who are properly trained, I wish I had.

If you don’t believe me just go. He knows about everything. If he can’t take care of you which is rare then he can refer you.

This arrogant, pathetic excuse of a doctor should never be allowed to to touch another patient. If he can screw up doing a lapchole on a perfectly healthy 27 year old.. just imagine what else he could do. He thinks he is untouchable but he isn't. Have you ever wondered why fl hosp won't let him have surgical privileges? Or that he isn't a board certified surgeon because he continues to fail his boards? His infection rate is at an all high and now that he has figured out how to manipulate patients.. he's now a vein surgeon???? You've got to be kidding me!!! He is not a vascular surgeon! Maybe if he was, he would know how to properly place his surgical clips correctly without harming the patient. This man is a disgrace to medicine and should have his lisence revoked!

We waited over two hours and then the appointment seemed hurried.

If you want to risk your life and almost die, he's your guy. He only cares about making money and not the care of his patients. He's the most arrogant doctor that should not be practicing medicine.

If you want to be butchered then go ahead and let him do surgery on you! But if you love your loved one and want them to live, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!

Dr Lackey did the gastric sleeve surgery February 2017, I followed all the rules and still did not lose weight. I had a CT scan done in Sept 2017 which showed minimal reduction in size of stomach. He did not preform the sleeve, he just cut a tiny piece of the stomach out. it wasn't even in the correct area! I am not seeking a revision with another surgeon. I personally know of 3 other people who are in the same boat as me. He might be a good general surgeon but he is NOT knowledgeable in bariatric surgery.

We patients are not persons for him, we are only a cash machines. Is very rare that he speaks with the patients. He normally send somebody else, because he is " very busy" ( but they charge you as if you see the doctor). Order more visits and procedures than the ones that are necesary. ( More money for his office)

I needed someone to save me from myself! Dr. Lackey and his staff have been so supportive, understanding and informative! Food addiction is the hardest addiction to overcome because you DO NOT have to pop another pill, drink another bottle of booze, but you can't go without food, but their support has been phenomenal!

Dr. Lackey is very professional, and I was extremely grateful he was able to treat my veins in my legs. His staff is top notch, from the girls at the front desk, to carol and all the other techs, I have never met staff that was so friendly, caring and professional. They handled all insurance issues for me, and were very helpful in rescheduling. I would not waste my time with another surgeon, Dr. Lackey is the go to guy!
