Dr. Thomas E Callahan, DO

I am finally ready to share our traumatic experience with this doctor. In the middle of a very serious emergency with our child, this doctor pushed aside the reason we were in the hospital, to challenge, belittle, scrutinize and eventually made our child leave too soon, because of our religious beliefs and medical exemptions with vaccines. He bragged about his own beliefs and family, pushing aside our own beliefs, he challenged us on all levels and when he wasn't winning the argument, he discharged our child far too early. We had to go to a different hospital for further treatment. He told us to never come to his office until we are ready to listen to him and fully vaccinate our family, who have medical reasons why they can't. We already had a pediatrician who has a VERY close relationship to our children, who is working with us on how WE choose to vaccinate, who is extremely understanding. Even the Mayo Clinic advised we take the rout we are. This vaccine war is growing too far out of… control. Doctors like Dr. Callahan, are ignoring the realistic and horrible side effects of vaccines. And my children already having autoimmune diseases, which are being treated for by the Mayo Clinic, this doctor who has no relationship with my family at all, still chose to be extremely hostile and arrogant to our family during a highly critical time. Ignoring what we had already been through in the last 24 hours. I wasn't showered, nor in clothes that were washed, while I was still covered in vomit from my extremely ill child. He took that time, in our weakened state of mind, to further cause harm to our stress levels and emotions. He ignored our child's well-being, picked his own emotions over the emergency we were in, angry over our personal vaccine choice, and made a huge mistake with our family. Had my child died, due to his lack of care, because of his own emotions over the "hot" vaccine issues in 2019, my child's death would be on his hands. Thank God for Finley Hospital as an alternative. I will never in my life, ever suggest such an insincere and egotistical man, doctor or not, to any soul. May God forgive him for how he treated us and probably many other families.
