1.0 on office visit. Too long of a wait. Office help is the worst. He is such in a rush to make more money instead of caring about the patients.

My mom had 2 surgeries and he left her with out much vision and said he couldn't anything for her. She had the surgery 1 more time and it was a success. Please find another doctor who isn't so arrogant and uncaring.

Complete waste of time!

Don't waste you time. Insurance scam! See's patient's on average of 2 minutes and you wait 2.5 hours on average to see him.

This is the most unprofessional doctor's office I've ever been to. I recently took my 87 year old mother there for an appointment. She is in a wheelchair. Not once did anyone on the office staff offer assistance when I needed help getting her around the office or out of her chair into the doctor's chair. In fact they purposely ignored us and one even rolled her eyes as we struggled to get through. One particular staff member, maybe the office manager or even the doctor's wife, was extremely rude on a few different occasions during this visit. We will not be returning to this doctor. His office is a disgrace to the profession.

Dr. John performed cataract surgery on me and did not put in a corrective lense. He put in a lense but the prescription was way off from what he put into my eye. I was very disappointed when I tried to talk to him about it and he was rude at best. Dr. John is a lot older than his picture on the Advocate website. I would never go to nor recommend Dr. John to anyone. The assistant who took the measurements for my eyes did not correctly measure the vision and Dr. John would never own up to that. In additon, the office waits are insanely long. I have been going to ophthamologists for about 20 years and his was the only bad experience I have had. He has built himself a reputation but you need to hear his patients talking in the waiting room.

IT is evidenet that Dr. John is very well educated and is very knowledgable in his field. However, his office staff has very little concept of how to treat the patients. Patients need to be very careful with their personal information as the office staff are not very discrete in keeping information secure from other patients. Appointments are often misscheduled and patients show up to an empty office with nop staff or Dr. John present. The offices are extremely cramped and much of the medical equipment and office decor show signs of wear. The Oak Lawn office almost looks abandoned from the oputside. Dr. John rarely shows up at the office on time. The Oak Brook office starts appoitmernts at 6:50p.m om Thursdays. Dr, John rarely shows up before 7:30. Dr. John constantly appears to be rushed and spends very little time with patients. While Dr. John is very knowledgable and seems to have a good success rate, the aforementioned conditions are sure top lead to some problems for some… pataients.
