After decades of misdiagnosis I was referred to Olympia Orthopaedic Associates. Dr Dumontier is wonderful in evaluating the true problem causing my horrible foot pain causing me to not enjoy outdoor activities or just walking for long periods. Dr Dumontier takes the time to explain the cause and medical procedure to resolve the cause of physical pain issues. My surgical procedures are now complete and I have healed well. Thank you Dr Dumontier for your dedication to helping your patients to better physical health. Now I’m able to walk a mile or more most days to follow my recommended 150 minutes per week walking for my health needs. I also appreciate the staff at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates as they are so helpful and friendly. The facility is also wonderfully nice.

I was referred to Dr. Dumontier because of my advanced osteoarthritis I have in my right ankle. Dr. Dumontier is a Foot and Ankle Specialist with 22 years experience as an orthopedic surgeon. He had a complete battery of X-rays taken of both my right and left ankles. He showed me in the examination room that my left ankle is normal and that my right ankle has advanced osteoarthritis. He explained to me the options available to me to allow me to return to walking a mile or two most days. Dr. Dumontier saw me yesterday for lingering foot pain, and an assessment of bilateral long term issues on both feet. He was professional, knowledgeable, timely, and pleasant; gave me a comprehensive exam; dispensed common sense advice on how to care for those issues; and made some suggestions about elective treatments. I appreciated his sensitivity when discussing arthritic and minor calcification problems common to my age group. I would return to him with related issues if needed in the future, and would recommend him highly. I have been treated for foot issues at St Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, and had physical therapy at University of Michigan Sports Med. I find his medical expertise in his field comparable to those reputable clinics.
