Dr. Timothy J Machon, MD

Doctor Tim has been my main and preferred OBGYN at this practice since I began here in 2012-2013 in my late 20s, and except the very recent additions of Drs Fitzgerald and LaPerla, I have rotated through all of the physicians in this practice. The greatest part of Doc Tim is he doesn't mansplain, condescend, or preach to me--he also got to know my interests, was genuinely concerned about my husband's own aging male health concerns, and also treats me as a dignified, whole person with autonomy and respect. He has a sense of humor and is extremely gentle in his exams--he doesn't make it weird with uncomfortable silence or weird eye contact, which some others sometimes can. He far exceeds my expectations on bedside manner. Having recently just had the newest version of the laparoscopic, robot assisted TH, I can also speak to his surgical abilities--TOP-NOTCH, everything from pre-operative options/instructions, to alleviating medical fears on the day of, and aftercare. He's the best in… the biz, and I've had to seek other practices in between due to insurance issues, but nobody outperforms this doctor! Some female OBGYNs I've seen should be required to take notes from Doctor Tim Machon--he is world class.

Dr. Machon makes perceptive observations and listens well to ensure first class treatment of his patients. His wisdom is evident; he’s a socially-perceptive practitioner. He’s recommended for women who value excellent tendencies in their doctor.

I had a robot assisted hysterectomy done by Dr. Machon. He has a great bedside manner and takes time to explain everything. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I had no pain after 3 days and went back to light duty after 5 days. I only have 3 tiny imperceptible 1cm scars on my belly! If you have to have a hysterectomy done, Dr. Machon is your surgeon!

I began going to Women's Health Group in 2013 when I was trying to get pregnant. Unfortunately after a few years and several invasive tests I found out we couldn't have kids. So I cannot speak for the obstetrics aspect of the practice. The gynecology side is wonderful! I have seen five providers here but mostly see Doctor Machon. He is gentle, compassionate, informative and possesses a wonderful sense of humor. Means a lot that as a not-so-girly-girl we can discuss football and fishing in between my lady parts needs. Would tell anyone to see him for either OB,GYN or both! Spectacular physician and he takes his time to ensure I understand everything being done and discussed. Ten stars!

I was referred to Dr. Machon for his excellent skills in robotic surgury. My first visit with him, I felt totally comfortable and left his office feeling very assured. My surgury went great. Recovery went very well, as he said it would. He has excellent bedside manners, was awesome in the hospital, as well as in my office appts. He listens, and explains all details very well. He came across to me from the start as a top notch surgeon, who is very smart and skilled at what he does, and very caring. I tell everyone about him. His staff is also excellent. Very caring, and take the time to talk with any questions you may have. I am so very happy with Dr. Machon, his staff, and my final recovery. I can now move on and be a healthy person. He is what i call...the "bomb" of all surgeons! He is the best!!!!!

I HAD A HYSTORECTOMY TWO WEEKS AGO AS SOON AS I AWOKE FROM THIS SURGERY I FELT NO PAIN AT ALL FROM THIS SURGERY. My uterus as I was told was the size of being five months pregnant and with such a large mass that needed to be removed there was NO PAIN. THANK YOU DR.Machon and Saint Francis hospital CT

Dr. Machon was wonderful during my recent hysterectomy. During my 6 week post-op actually listened to my concerns regarding pain and the emotional aspect of "angry ovaries". It was a long visit and he was very helpful and explained quite a bit. A great doctor for woman considering a hysterectomy.

I have gone to Dr. Machon for about 7 years now. He is a great doctor, really cares about his patients and their health. I have no significant health issues, but when I do voice minor issues- he listens and offers solutions. Overall, the staff is very kind and attentive as well.

I love my doctor because no matter what type of questions I ask Dr. Machon he never looked or made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. If he does not know the answer believe me he knows someone who might & he will refer you to them but he will check back with you to make sure you were taken care of & to see how you are feeling. Dr. Machon is really a great doctor who truly care for his patients. I recommend him to all my girlfriends.

I would highly recommend Dr. Machon to everyone near and far. I drove all the way from New York to meet with him and I don't regret one single moment. He is very attentive and is one of the top Davinci Robotic surgeons around. He changed my life for the better and I will never forget him.
