Dr. Tina Christina Venetos, MD

"Dr." Tina Venetos is absolutely, offensively horrendous at her job. Rushed, aggressive, and most of all, careless. I went to her for a simple cyst removal, which was scheduled in advance. She scolded me as if I screwed up the appointment because the careless assistants and reception did not book the appointment accurately for the procedure. That was the least of it. She was extremely reckless during the procedure and stitched it so appallingly, the skin was dying by day two. It was infected by day two (her assistant mis-cut a stitch and left a piece of it in the wound). I knew going back to her office was a mistake based on how unprofessional and uncaring they were in the first place, so I saw a different dermatologist who was appalled at the way Tina Venetos handled this procedure. The new dermatologist had to unstitch, clean out the infection, glue the wound and send me off with intense antibiotics. I will now need laser scar revision (I was prepared for a scar, but not to be… intentionally mauled). This was on my collarbone - she knowingly disregarded the location being so visible and butchered my skin. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this office, most of all the fact that Tina Venetos will absolutely cause more harm than good. She needs to lose her license.

It has been easy to get an appointment. Have gotten different diagnoses from her of same issue at different times which has been confusing. Sometimes abrupt, sometimes friendly. A ProPublica "Dollars for Docs" listing indicates that she received approximately $23,623 in industry payments between 2014 and 2018. She also sells some products she recommends in her office. This makes me uncomfortable.
