Dr. Todd Jacob Gates, DO

Good doctor, very compassionate and empathetic, but he overmedicated me. Then, he didn't pay attention to my complaints about the medication side effects. Mixed experience.

My son has been sick for many years and my son had much difficulty with poor treatment and doctor/patient relationships . We met Dr Gates during an inpatient stay and he really provided us with the best care - We drove over an hour for appointments, he listens and provided unique treatment options - medications that no others had offered . My son was able to regain his self, trust in his doctor and began to engage in his treatment plan. You will NOT find a better doctor. He is the best.

I am a "psychiatric survivor". I would like to sue for being traumatized by their "treatment" which ruined my marriage and my life. For further insight read the book "Unhinged". I call it the mental lack of health system because of their reliance on pills, brute force and ignorance as problem solvers instead of analyzing and helping with the actual issues creating the symptoms. There is a lack of real people skills.

Dr. Gates is a tremendous doctor, with great people skills and superior treatment of various conditions. When I didn't know what I was dealing with, Dr. Gates was patient, professional and extremely intuitive and accurate, in helping me find the optimal course of treatment. In no small way, he literally helped me get back on track.
