Dr. Troy Ferguson, DO

My visit with Dr. Ferguson was truly great. He clearly is an expert in the "sports hernia" field. He explained everything clearly and succinctly. From check-in at his office until discharge after surgery everything went just as he explained it would. Since we were not from Lansing, the office staff went out of their way to welcome my wife and I; giving us directions to the hospital and the shortcut back to our hotel. The entire hospital staff was professional, engaging and extremely caring. Dr. Ferguson met me in pre-op and went through everything again, making sure I was well prepared. I would highly recommend Dr. Troy Ferguson to anyone who is suffering from a sports hernia.

I saw this doctor for a consultation on a skin lesion. My afternoon appointment was rescheduled by his office to the morning, saying the doctor needed the afternoon off. The waiting room was packed with patients. My wait to see the doctor was 1 hr 25 minutes. No apology was given for the long wait. I did not feel like the doctor or the med students with him took my medical issue seriously.

I saw Dr Ferguson for consultation on a minor surgery. My afternoon appointment was changed to the morning because the doctor needed the afternoon off. I arrived early for a 9:00 am appointment to a packed waiting room. I did not see the doctor until 10:25. The resident doctor rudely questioned my medical issue, making me uncomfortable and uneasy about going forward with treatment from this medical practice.

Dr. Ferguson performed my Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (Gallbladder) surgery. He was one of the kindest doctors I've met. He's very easy to talk to and answers all my questions and concerns. My surgery went well with no compilations, I'm now a month post op. My surgery was done at Hayes Green Beach, all of the staff was very kind and caring. I was having horrible anxiety before my surgery, and they were understanding and took my concerns seriously. I would highly recommend Dr. Ferguson if you're searching around for a doctor to perform your Cholecystectomy!

I went to the hospital with abdominal pain, found it it was my appendix. Dr. Ferguson was my surgeon he did a excellent job and explained thing very well. It's only been two weeks and I am feeling like my self again. Thanks to a wonderful and caring surgeon.

Repaired a sports induced hernia and did a great job. No complications. Very professional yet friendly.

Dr. Ferguson was the only doctor who listened to me with how sick I really actually was after a year & a half of trying to convince a dozen doctors- he got straight to the point without running any tests and he was right. Ever since my surgery I've been feeling so much better, cannot thank him enough, considering if it weren't for him I'd still be sick & suffering!!!
