My family has been going to Dr. Overton's office for over 20 years. People don't typically relish the idea of a doctor's visit, but Dr. Overton and her office consistently make the experience as pleasant and efficient as possible. The front office is run like a well-oiled machine: there is never a long wait time between your scheduled appointment and when you're actually seen; the women in the front are all friendly, helpful and considerate; and Teri (the office manager) handles everything, from billing to inquiries, with ease and grace. If there was nothing else to go on, I could speak to what a brilliant doctor and consummate professional Dr. Overton is. Though I have 20/20 vision, and my visits are mostly annual check-ups, many family members (immediate and extended ... we all go to her) wear glasses and have eye issues. She is always deliberate and considerate in how she explains a particular issue, and she truly makes you feel like you matter (as opposed to some doctors, who treat… you as an appointment rather than a person). Case in point: when my grandfather passed away last year, Dr. Overton sent our family a full page and a half hand-written letter recalling her memories of my grandfather and expressing her sorrow at our loss. She is just that rare breed of doctor who is superior at her job, but still always finds a way to make you feel regarded.

I recently had an exam in Dr. Overton's office and felt the service was fabulous. The office was spotless, everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly and my exam was very thorough.

Highest level of professionalism. Perhaps too much time with in-office pre-screening by other staff on return appts.
