A few years ago when I first went to Dr. Mohan it was for a colonoscopy. As I lay on the table, prepped, hooked to an IV, he didn't show up. His staff apologized saying he should have come back from lunch by now and they didn't know what would hold him up. He finally appeared about 30 to 40 min. late. Dr. Mohan doesn't offer options for treatments - he only says what he's going to do. He prescribed Ciproflaxin for me, not telling me it has the FDA's highest black box warning and I ended up in the ER. My chart at his office specifically says I have hypoglycemia and Ciproflaxin is never supposed to be given to hypoglycemics. Another physician told me that could be grounds for malpractice. Further, he repeatedly told me to take a laxative without telling me there can be underlying causes for my problem (poor motility) and that poor motility can be easily treated to avoid laxatives. I had to research it myself and suggest it to him. No one answers the main office phone at any… time of day. You're left to leave a message. At least once they never did return the call. Further, I had a test done but the results were never given to me on the portal until I reminded them. Today, weeks after finally receiving the test result I received a portal message saying I've never had that test and that I really should schedule it.

I hired Dr. Mohan to perform a colonoscopy. I told his scheduling people that I needed to be sure that he didn't hire or contract or allow anybody not covered by my insurance to work on me, as I didn't want any billing surprises. Since I'd be unconscious for the procedure, and since, for instance, I couldn't control what labs they used to examine samples or perform tests, it made sense that they make sure they hired people and labs that accepted my insurance. The scheduling person made noises that sounded like that was what they would do. Paperwork that came later that looked like a contract or terms of engagement stated to the contrary, that other people might bill me. When I called his billing person she got sort of huffy and told me it was up to me to make sure that everybody took my insurance. How can I, as the patient, be sure of that, though? They are the ones hiring and contracting and allowing and arranging, not me, other than hiring Mohan. I cancelled.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Mohan for many years (~10-12 years). I’ve had ulcerative colitis since 1970 and switched to Dr. Mohan when my former gastroenterologist retired many years ago. I find Dr. Mohan to be professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My wife also sees Dr Mohan for her periodic colonoscopies. We both couldn’t be more satisfied with Dr. Mohan as our doctor. Thomas and Mary Archer

Dr. Mohan is very detail oriented. He takes time to explain the problem, he explains what has to be done, different ways of treatment and why is he choosing this method for treatment. He is never in a rush, very patient and always listens first

Explained my "internal plumbing" so I could easily understand and how everyone colon struggles to eliminate waste due to design. His prescription has so far virtually eliminated my frequent attacks.

Dr Mohan made incorrect decisions about my issues. I was suffering from gastro troubles and he made me go through several tests. In the end I myself figured out that it was happening whenever I was having milk and it was just lactose intolerance. I would expect such a basic and common issue to be easily diagnosable by an experienced doctor, but it looks like the clinic is just here to run a variety of tests and make money.

Dr Mohan is very caring and took a long time to listen thoroughly to my issues and diagnose them.I ended up needing an endoscopy but it didn't find anything. My issues continue but we know it isn't anything physical, thanks to his thorough check. I do wish they had followed up though

I have done my endoscopy & colonoscopy with him in 2006, repeated my colonoscopy this month in 2009. He is excellent!. He spends enough time with patinent to understand concern, his diagnosis is perfect and he cares a lot about patinents!!. I am higly impressed and will recommend everyone who has any endoscopy/colonoscopy issues. He is the man in WA!!!!!
