Dr. Venkatreddy Alugubelli, MD

I found Dr. Alugubelli to be condescending. Although he has a good command of the English language, he continually uses a staff member to communicate for him. I found it disturbing that is lab coat was ALWAYS dirty. Yuck.

For the past 19 years, this writer and his family have been patients of Dr. Alugubelli. During all that time, we have found Dr. Alugubelli to be a thorough diagnostician, attentive to medical details, dedicated to patient care, and possessing a caring and friendly manner. Would recommend him highly.

He has been our doctor for the past 14 years since we moved here to FLorida

Hubby finally got health insurance. So now had to find doctor. Alugubelli, was recommended my the insurance agent. Very pleasant experience.. Very organized. Seems interested in you as his patient.... So, now I'm going to change doctors, and see Allugubelli also.

he stated I had a stroke .. what I really have is carpal tunnel

My father was "not" told he had pneumonia--Dr Alugubelli just said --Oh he's pretty good for 89-----He died of Pneumonia . He does not care about his patients and stereo types them according to age. I think he needs to get a new job-- can't even submit this survay unless you put 3 stars rigged

He is a geriatric doctor and most of the time uses the patient's specialists to know what to do If your young and have no specialists there's a good chance he will put you in a hospital He won't send you for anything more than a chest x-ray he says he doesn't want to get sued yet when he puts you in the hospital he tells them to do a bunch of tests guess he thinks they will get sued When you go to see him he doesn't know who you are or what your there for meanwhile he saw you 5 days ago When he makes a mistake he gives you a sermon that he's been a doctor for 28 years There a lot of other doctors in Citrus County you can use.

He does not take the time to listen and just assumes!! When you do try to explain he's still right no matter the situation!! I've NEVER been spoken down to the way he does! He had the audacity to call adult protective services for my uncle (whom is special needs and I only had custody of for 2 weeks at the time and was trying to get him situated) they came out and thought it was the most ridiculous case!! His bed side manner is awful which is too bad because from what I heard he was a really good doctor (which is why I brought my uncle to him) if he spent more time worrying about his patients instead of "Medicare dollars" (which was brought up in the last 3 encounters I had with him) maybe he would have better ratings....

Dr. was in such hurry forgot to take out stitches from where I fell in office and ended up in hospital for a week from his poor practice's .I was his patient for a number of years but his hurry up manner caused me to fall in his office . I was taken to hospital and he continued to be to treat me there. I was never told what test he was doing or what the results were. They never called my in case of emergency contact. They didn't want as a patient anymore after that.
