Dr. Vincent Sciortino, MD

I have received medical care from Dr. Sciortino for a number of years. I understand that while patients are required to arrive no later than your scheduled appointment time, that is no guarantee of the actual time you will see the doctor. My 8 am appointment time was the first available in the morning. I drive 55 miles one way to see Dr. Sciortino. I figured being the first appointment in the morning would have no wait or a minimal wait. I was more than 5 minutes early for my 8 am appointment. The nurse did not call me back until 8:10 am. I then waited until 8:40 am and never saw Dr. Sciortino. The patient that was taken back after me was seen before I was. The staff apparently forgot that I was waiting and that I was the first patient of the day! I got up and left! This is very poor service. Not knowing what patient should be first is not acceptable. You have heard it before but everyone's time is valuable. The first patient of the day should not have to wait over 45 minutes. Consider… this situation if you are thinking about using this medical practice for your healthcare. I won't be back!

My wife and I are 69 and 70. We have been to many Drs, had many surgery's, and visits to emergency rooms. We have been patients for many years and do not want to go to any other Dr. His office staff and Nurse are knowledgeable and concerned for your welfare. Dr Sciortino listens, and makes certain that you know everything about any concerns you might have. We have sent many friends and family to Dr Sciortino. He has found what other Drs and hospitals have not. Before surgeries he describes, shows pictures, and draws to make sure you know what will happen and what to expect.

Found Dr. Sciortino after a long search for a doctor who sees his own patients in the hospital - he IS the one! He listens to questions and answers them. He also listens to answers to questions he asks his patients. He makes good recommendations, is understanding, patient, and has a great sense of humor. He is very busy and sometimes the wait is a longer than usual but he is so worth the wait. His office staff takes care of everything immediately - forms, referrals, Rx refills, nothing is left unattended! He is the best and I truly love this doctor!

Terrible staff careless dr!

This is the worst medical office I have encountered. The office staff is completely rude. Marty will bite your head off if you ask any question. You are judged by your appearance so make sure to show up in all designer clothing. He did not evaluate me or treat me accurately. Worst physician I've ever seen. He did not care at all about my health or what was occurring in my body to cause a decline in my health. He basically left me to die on my own.

Very patient oriented, spends time making sure you understand medical problems. Patients seem to come first. Very polite, consider best outcome of treatments. Makes you feel important to him with your best outcome goal. Would recommend him to everyone.

Over prescribes. Likes to talk about himself. Would not recommend him

Good doctor. One thing needed: When results from blood tests are in the office, doctor or staff need to let us know if there is a problem RIGHT AWAY! We should not have to ask for the results!!!!! Staff at front desk are like robots. Sometimes rude.

Bad doctor all he cares about is making money. He doesn't spend time with patients he tries to code visits to where the patient has to pay more money.

This man should not have a license, had 2 appts. With him he billed my insurance for things he never did eve,n a pelvic ex. He never put his hands on me
