I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Nagaraja after having a particularly lenghty and debilitating illness during which I developed pseudo gout that made ambulating quite difficult and caused pain that disrupted my sleep. Due to the nature of my underlying conditon, I had to wait until most of that had resolved to be effectively treated. Even then, Dr. Nagaraja remained cautious enough to page my infectious disease physician who had been overseeing my care during the office visit to be certain she agreed with the plan of care he and I had agreed was one I was most interested in - as he outlined all the options. Dr. Nagaraja explained the benefits and potential risks of all approaches and I appreciated he took my opinion into consideration. He made time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and provided comfort for me during the aspiration of a significant amount of fluid from my bilateral knees before injecting the corticosteroids we agreed upon. Post-procedure expections… were explained well. I felt confident and well cared for in this provider's most competent hands and gentle manner.
