Dr. Wesley Clifford Crowell, MD

I have been going to this doctor for server years before they relocated into there new building and everything was fine. Since Now they have a lot more Patients they seem very irritable. They have gotten so unprofessional that the Receptionist Amanda hung the phone up in my face. I was dealing with my daughter turning 19 in a few month when I first started going to them they told me they see kids up to 19 which is the legal age to become adult. She wasn't 19 teen yet and trust, I was going to do just that but they lied to me and then the receptionist was giggling as if it was funny and then asked someone and the background could she hang up on me and they told he yes. I wasn't even getting nasty or anything. I just wanted to know why they told me one thing and now change it. My Son is still a patient with this doctor not anymore. Amanda really shouldn't be in her position . Customer Service Skills should a must especially a doctor office but not anymore Thank Mrs. Amanda Not… only is my daughter finding a doctor My Son is also and on top of that I hope enough bad reports will make you find some where else New also Like a New Job

Excellent care and straight foward answers make visiting Dr. Crowell with my kids a pleasant and rewarding experience. He is highly recommended.

I very much like Dr. Crowell as a person but I need him as my children's doctor. We seem to always wait about an hour, sometimes more, when we go and no one likes to sit in a yucky waiting room for a long period with their sick baby sitting around other sick kids. (The pictures on the wall, adorable! The chairs are stained and the carpet and floor are not very sanitary looking.) The staff is very friendly.. However, it seems like recently when my kids are sick it takes forever to get them seen. I have a child with issues that shouldn't be ignored when sick or she could end up in the hospital and in the last month we have been to the doc-in-the-box 3 times because we couldn't get in to see Dr. Crowell or rather his nurse practitioner who usually has to see us. I feel like he has taken on too many patients so he is now unable to give as good of care to the ones he has. I don't want to have to pay an E.R. visit when my kids are sick which is why I have a pediatrician. His hours are… limited and that makes it even harder to get in when ill. I like the staff but we need a doctor. Also his office used to specify if you were sick to stay to one area and well kids stay on the other side, most people don't want to go to the doctor to have a well visit so they can pick up the latest bug going around. I have been going there for years but I am currently looking for a new place/dr. to care for my children. Last but not least one of the last things we went for was misdiagnosed and we ended up in an E.R. visit and were told it would not go away on it's own and to follow up with a specialist... which would've been nice to know months ago and we wouldn't have been in the E.R. I know it happens, but over the last year or so I feel that the amount of issues we have encountered are too much for us to continue as patients. I am not one to complain about the small stuff, but if I had been able to read reviews of others who have had the same experiences I would've chosen a different Pediatrician to begin with, and yes while waiting for so long the patients will talk to each other so I know I am not the only one experiencing this.

Dr. Crowell is an excellent pediatrician. After many misdiagnoses on my son's eczema, Dr. Crowell finally implemented a prescription routine that helps. He is genuinely concerned for my child's well being, and has even told me to call him directly before ever visiting the emergency room. My only complaint is the wait time for appointments.
