Dr. Dragomir Jovanovic, MD

Went to a doc aqhwal in his office he runs and our family has used them for years and when I needed him the most he was missing in action. Typical gas lighting and wouldn't you know it after he dismissed me I was admitted to icu for 10 days ...now finding new practice to work with as this one made it clear they don't care anymore

He's a good doctor

Each time I call I get transferred to a different office, no matter which office I call. I do not see why an appointment cannot be made from either office? Drs schedule is on the computer for all facilities- why the transfer? I am frustrated because each time and I mean each time I get transferred by phone someone hangs up on me. Dr Jovanovich is a very nice doctor whom I highly recommend. His staff, I cannot say the same.

Very friendly but professional. Makes you feel comfortable while explaining things in easy words to understand.

His practice is quite busy with many patients waiting to be seen. Making an appointment is easy and usually you get in same or next day. I've seen Dr. Jovanovic for years and I've come to learn his style. He can be a bit abrupt but you have to not let that get to you. Simply take your time and ask your questions and he'll answer. He has been known to fly in and out of rooms due to patient load but it doesn't happen all the time. His office staff in the Oak Lawn site can be rude; again, I've been going for years so they know me and I get what I need but some days, you wonder how they remain employed. Staff in Evergreen, much friendlier so I try to make appointments there. I have found his nurses to be quite good and friendly. He runs a tight ship. He has become more friendly with me over the years and we can actually joke about things. Overall, a good doctor and orders appropriate tests.

Very arrogant and rude doctor. Has no respect for patient and does not like answering patients questions. Throws his years of medical school experience at you whenever you challenge his beliefs. Very quick to prescribe meds without concrete diagnosis. Does very little for holistic care. He also insulted me and screamed at me just for asking questions about how he arrived at his diagnosis. I will not be seeing him again and will try to file formal complaint.

Waiting time was more than one hour, because his nurses are filling inside offices with 4 patients at a time and than doctor jumps from one to other.Is that really caring for patients ???
