Dr. Do is very caring and takes the time to listen to your concerns. His office staff is helpful. I would recommend him.

Dr. Duc Do is excellent. He is very knowledgeable. You can’t fine anyone more caring than him in all of Orange County. His staff is great too especially Emile she was very helpful during my last tele medicine last week. Thanks so much.

am a current patient of Dr Do who has just left the practice due to the same experiences reported by other patients on this thread. This office is run by the most unprofessional, rude, and callous staff I have experienced at a doctor’s office. They are primarily concerned with your ability to financially enrich their practice; your health and well being is a distant second. From the start, you will see their focus on making clear to you their financial policies (in addition to their strict 48 hour re-scheduling policy, enforce with a $30 fee even during a global pandemic) when completing their new patient forms. The doctor is actually very thorough and attentive, which makes his staffs’ lack of professionalism and care even more striking. As a cancer patient, I had questions about prior authorizations for medications I previously had covered 100% by insurance and when questioned why there was a blanket “no prior authorizations attempted” for the medication I was prescribed, I was told… by 2 different staff members, “this is our policy and if you don’t like it you should find a new doctor”. I’ve worked in healthcare my entire career and have never had an experience at medical office where I felt personally repeatedly insulted by the staff. Choose a different endocrinologist if you want for your physician to have your health be their top priority.

I have been a patient of Dr. Do’s for 10 years. After my last visit I scheduled my normal check up appointment for six months. After that time their policy changed and they wanted to see patients every three months but this was not communicated to me. As a result when I just recently called to ask to move my current appointment a few days later I was told I was in noncompliance for not seeing them three months earlier. When policies change you cannot hold your patients accountable if you do not communicate to them. As a result of their determination that I was noncompliant with this policy they simply sent me a letter saying I had to find a new physician. After a 10 year history I asked if Dr. Do would be willing to speak with me regarding this because it’s simply a misunderstanding. I was told by his very rude front office manager that he would not be willing to speak with me and hung up on me.

I have been seeing this doctor for years, but not anymore! Wouldn’t refill a prescription that I have been taking for over 20 years during the pandemic. Even thought I had gotten all blood test, which were normal. They finally agree to a telemedicine call and then proceeded to charge me the same price as a in person call. Finally got my prescription which was supposed to be for a year and it turns out it was only 3 months so I would have to do another telemedicine call. When I asked his staff if they could ask him if about why the prescription was only 3 months and not a year they basically said no and you can go somewhere else if you don’t like it.... Truly unbelievable.

I had to cancel my doctors appointment due to not having my lab work completed due to the Covid-19. This uth only a checkup as I had already had surgery by another wonderful doctor. The girl in the office starting to tell me that if I didn't come in the doctor would not continue my medication. She talked over me and was so rude I finally told her I would find another doctor as I would not put up with this! I was angry after I hung up and asked to speak to the girl again and all of a sudden she wasn't available so asked to speak to doctor and told he doesn't speak to patients. He's difficult to understand due to heavy accent and gets annoyed if you don't understand him.Dr I found him to be arrogant and very difficult to understand. When I questioned him about a possible diagnosis as I was not knowledgeable with the term he got irritated so I told him not to act like that or I would not come back to him, then he calmed down. After my office conversation I got an email from Dr. Do… telling me he would no longer continue to see me since I had cancelled my appointment even though he knew I was the one who dismissed him! I would never recommend this doctor! After seeing the other reviews I see I am far from being alone in my comments and the problems...

I've only been a patient of Dr. Do for approximately a year and have never had an experience like this before. I initially found him somewhat arrogant which didn't bother me too much as I felt it was due to my not being able to understand him due to his heavy accent. He diagnosed me with a condition I had after blood work and explaining to me got annoyed when I wasn't understanding his explanation since I didn't know the term Parathyroid and exactly what it meant. I told him at that point that I didn't appreciate attitude and would go to another doctor. I ended up having surgery by a great surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner and it all turned out great! I saw Dr. Do for a follow up and instructions for lab work. Due to the Covid-19 didn't get my lab work and cancelled my appointment within plenty of time. When I was on the phone with one of his office staff she was rude, argumentative, talking over me to get her point across that if I didn't reschedule that doctor Do would not give… me my prescriptions. I tried to explain that I was going to be on this for life. I was shocked by her attitude and behavior and told her I would find another doctor and hung up. After I got off the phone as angry and called back to talk to the doctor but got another girl who "told me the doctor doesn't talk to anyone" and I then realized I made the right choice in my decision. This is the best part, after that I got a text message from Dr. Do telling me he could no longer keep me as a patient do to my refusal to not keep my appointments! I was the one to terminate our doctor/patient relationship! I have never had an experience like this before but after going online and seeing such similar reviews I see that my opinion is along the same lines as many others. Who needs doctors and staff like this when there are so many other qualified. Unfortunately he was recommend by one of my favorites doctors!!!

As stated before by other reviewers, there is no consideration for the patient's time. I have a very complex health issue, and one day just broke down crying in this office. I asked him to please just HELP me! He said that, he "wasn't the dr" to help me. I left their office feeling very unsatisfied. I got a letter in the mail from him a week later that I was "inconsiderate and rude to staff". This letter stated that he was firing me as a patient. I was a patient of his for over 5 years and have sent him at least 5 patients.

As I'm sitting in his office I asked to talk to him about how his front office has treated me and how they accidentally left me a voicemail for some else to come to my appointment time and then called me to asked me to come in at an early time before seeing if I could actually come at that earlier time. That's on top of already having problems with their billing. When I tried talking to him he said he didn't have time and didn't care. But he does have time to talk to you about his kids but again no time for the problems within his office. I'm hurt and very disappointed in his behavior and how he's treated me as his patient. Horrorible bedside manners. It's clearly just a job for him and he doesn't care about his patients.

Dr Do is amazing! He takes time to thoroughly explain things to me and adjusts my medication so that I feel better. Don’t go to anyone else.
