Dr. Duc Van Nguyen, MD

Doesn't listen, tries to intimidate, talks/yells over what you are trying to say, doesn't listen, gave 2 misdiagnosis that changed the second time I went. Told me what to do next for testing as he was half out the open door to leave. I had to go to the front desk to ask if I was supposed to make another appointment since he disappeared. Choose someone else.

Stay away from this doctor. He doesn’t take the time for you and your concerns He found I have scarring on my lungs and an obstructed airway and he told me it was no big deal and sent me on my way. I went to my primary care doctor and I they saw how horrible I was feeling. They gave me a lung function test (which should have been done by Dr Nguyen) and said I only have 60% lung function. I have stage 2 COPD (never smoked). If I hadn’t gone to my PCP, I would have never known I have COPD because according to Nguyen it was no big deal!!!

I'd like to rate the doctor, but it's impossible when the staff take forever. I gave the staff my insurance card and it took her 40 minute to tell me I wouldn't be accepted. If you've had it in front of you this entire time, why are you so incapable of letting me know instead of wasting my time? I had to ask for paperwork to fill out and if there was anything I had to do. The staff are awful and it's a poor reflection on the office. I would have loved to see the doctor, but it was impossible.

i am soooo frustrated. called for two days and still havent been able to talk to the dr. i am in a ton of pain and am having a lot of trouble breathing. Patient care is not this dr.'s first priority.
