Dr. D. Hodari Brroks

In 15 years, Dr. Brooks performed two hip replacements (right & left hips) on me. His professionalism, expertise and bedside manner are exceptional! He goes above and beyond to care for his patients. I have referred several friends and they have also highly praised their successful outcomes. I highly recommend him for a hip replacement.

Dr. Brooks was flirtatious. Relative had procedure done and this Physician called my phone for things other than professional affairs. Not sure if that is how business is done today but I have a problem with his demeanor. Is there something that can be done about him? Also, not sure if bedside manner goes along with anyone other than patient. I wasn't sure if I should have written it here or elsewhere. I would never recommend him. And also he was very arrogant.

I saw this doctor for a hip problem. He did a lot of talking and not a lot of listening. After 2 visits I decided to look elsewhere for care.

I had my knee replacement surgery over a year and a half ago and I have more pain now than before the surgery. Dr. Brooks said he cannot understand why I am in pain when the x-rays says there shouldn't be any pain. His solution is a nerve block. I am now seeing another physician.

This has been the worst surgery I have ever had. It’s been over a year and I’m still having pain and swelling in spite of following doctors order for PT and medication. Hate I ever had surgery!

My husband went to Dr. Brooks because of a broken bone near his hip. Dr. Brooks spent about 3 minutes with him and would not listen to me. My friend went to him because of a cyst behind her knee. He told her that she needed PT (for a cyst?). She's the most physically fit person I know. When she told him that she wanted a second opinion, he walked out on her. Ortho Atlanta need to quit pushing PT on people who don't need it.

He was very arrogant, not only was he abrupt with me but heard him being very rude to his nurse as well.

Dr. Hodari Brooks was great, staff was friendly. The wait wasn't very long, and the doctor didn't rush through the appointment. I would definitely recommend.

I sent my daughter in to have her knee examined because it has been swelling up. She ended up waiting two hours to see the doctor even though she had an appointment. He walked in and saw her for two minutes, brushed her off and told her to come back in six weeks after she sees a physical therapist. The rest of the staff was courteous despite the rude doctor. We have great insurance therefore I will be taking her somewhere else.

Best doctor I've ever had truly cares about the patient! Highly recommended!
