The person who wrote a bad report is mistaken. She has the wrong doctor as Dr Duraga Prasal Mekala is not even a “she”. Her comment needs to be removed!

If you are the one that can sit for hours while she catches up with her patients then please be her guest. You will be waiting for more than one hour. This is the last time I will make an appointment with her. To begin with on the first visit she was picking up the slack of the previous provider. I had to wait for a long time to get an appointment and when she did finally see me (1:15 minutes later) She agreed to do some tests on my Thyroid by inserting something that felt like she was playing tug of war with my neck and she was irritated and sternly asked me to stop moving when all I did was clench my teeth. The following time I has waited for over an hour when one of the receptionists and later a nurse confirmed she would be an additional hour late. I said I would run errands in the neighborhood and return as requested at 5:15. When I return the staff act all bewildered that I had "disappeared" The last time today was the final straw. After going to the counter to the receptionist… she informed me that the doctor was an hour late. I asked if I had time to wash my car and she confirmed and recommended I go to "Marco's Car wash" When I returned, 45 minutes later, the other receptionist said I was not checked in and seemed uneasy with me and communicated with the lady that had greeted me when I arrived. Long story short, the doctor had a policy that if I wasn't checked in within 30 minutes of the appointment it would be canceled. They called and were indicated by the doctor that I would have to be pulled back because she was already past my turn. Are you sure you want to go see someone this disorganized? I have payed for all her services and then some. This is no way to treat a patient. I wish her the best.

Dr. Mekala is very efficient when working with clients. I've been with him for more than three years and he has worked very well with me. He listens and helps clients to be at easy with his great sense of humor and respect of others. He understands the diversity of those who visit him and he's cognizant of their different perspectives of life. My only and a small concern is the waiting time especially when, at times, it takes close to an hour. Overall, he's a great physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Durga Mekala for a while now and I love his professionalism. Dr. Mekala is the only doctor that has been able to control my blood pressure and help with controlling my migraines. Every time that I have made an appointment I was always seen at a reason amount of time. The office is always clean and friendly atmosphere. He has the best nurse ever. I thank Dr. Makala for all that he does for me and my husband.

Dr. Mekala has shown NO interest in me nor my health since I have been his patient. All I am is a 15 minute appointment that generates revenue. Iam a diabetic and in the 2.5 years I have been his patient he has NEVER ordered blood work. I recently had tests performed and he never called with my results. I have to schedule an appointment with him. He then sent me for additional procedures without telling me why. He reviewed my results as I was sitting in the office; not before I arrived. I have no faith in him as a provider for even the most common complaint as a UTI. He said the test came back negative. I had all the symptoms. Went and saw my previous doctor and the test came back positive and she prescribed antibiotics. He is dismissive and non-chalant. Please seek another provider!

By far the worst office staff I have ever encountered. Very rude, unconcerned with patient problems, almost as if to resent patient's presence in office (I wish I were exaggerating). If you expect to have something taken care of (prescriptions refilled, referrals sent) plan to call back daily or it will not happen. The only good one in the bunch is the lady who handles the referrals. She was very helpful and courteous. Do yourself a favor and choose another office.

Good Dr but expect to wait at least 2 hours. Him and his staff sucks at sending in priscriptions. I always have 2 call and remind them 2 send my prescripruons. I will be looking for a new DR
