Dr. Dvorah G Holtzman, MD

Dr. Holtzman was my Cardiologist 5 years ago, and most recently for the past few weeks. She is an excellent doctor, cordial, thorough in her examinations and ordering the appropriate tests to determine whether the chest/upper back pain I have been experiencing was cardiac related. Recently I returned to her office on 84th Street, because she demonstrated to be a skilled, professional and personable 5 years ago, and she continues to be an excellent doctor. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Holtzman is phenomenal. I actually look forward to check-ups for cardio issues -- because I always learn something, get exceptional counseling and care, and leave her office feeling that the doctor has not merely "seen" me, but has paid attention! She has dealt very effectively with my hypertension. She makes an on-going, real and positive difference in my life!

Its a great feeling to have such confidence and trust in a doctor! I saw this doctor after a life threatening cardiac event Dr Holtzman is kind conscientious and responsive. She kept detailed and meticulous records and responded to my questions and concerns patiently and thoroughly . When I called her she returned the call promptly. She even called me personally...as opposed to a member of her staff...to check on my reaction to a medication she had prescribed. It is also worth mentioning that her office staff is also magnificent!

I dont generally recommend doctors to friends and family but Dr H is the exception. I have been her patient for a few years. She has always been kind attentive and extraordinary competent. She takes time to review all aspects of my health, patiently explaining tests and findings so that I understand. She has called me to check on me and is always responsive when I have called her. It is easy and quick to schedule appointments. I feel totally confident and comfortable in her care. I have no hesitation giving Dr Dvorah Holtzman a five star rating in every way.

My experience w Dr. Holtzman has been excellent! She is thorough,knowledgeable and personable. I so much appreciated her responsiveness when I called with a concern. She also called and checked with me about the treatment. It is really settling to feel confidence in her ability as well as her caring! Her office staff is delightful as well! I actually referred a member of my family and a friend. That says it all!

Wait time wasn’t unreasonable and office staff was efficient, polite, and friendly. Dr Holtzman is very thorough, asking relevant questions, listening carefully, and following up as necessary. Her approach for care is conservative and realistic. Unlike other physicians I’ve experienced, she is never dismissive or condescending.
