Dr. Dwain Montraville Rogers, MD

This guy did a surgery on me in 2007 (Nissin) and I have never been the same since. He does not explain exactly what he is doing and then scares you into doing something you should have never had done. I have had nothing but issues because of his botched surgery. Even local doctors said they have never seen a as big of a failure on a procedure as Rogers had done.... You made my life miserable and my kids are the ones that felt it the worst.

Instead of getting the ball rolling on someone with cancer he did nothing but play games for over 2 months! Please find another surgeon...it may be worth your life in the long run

You will not find a better surgeon in the area. He takes his job very serious and is up front with everyone.

2 years after surgery and I still have pain on a daily basis.He ruined my life...I felt so much better before I had this surgery that I was unaware that I even needed. Avoid him..please do your research and then go elsewhere. Just ask yourself if he’s so wonderful then why has he bounced around the country to so many different hospitals ? I will continue to spread the word about this scum bag until he’s held accountable, I went for 10 weeks post surgery trying to tell him something was wrong but you can’t tell this jack off anything !

Another doctor with a God Complex that became hostile because I tried to actively participate in my care. When he saw that I took the Cologuard test before coming to his office he was openly angry. He asked why and I told him I wanted to avoid unnecessary surgeries. That put him into a 5 minute tirade that didn't stop until I told him that was ENOUGH. When he told me that there is NO RISK to his surgery, I knew I would be leaving. I scheduled elsewhere.

In 2011 my mother's doctor, who was in the same practice with Dr Rogers, was going to allow my mother to die... Long story,but the surgery to move her stomach back to where it belongs gave my mother her life back, she is now 93. I also had a twisted colon, the same doctor ignored my mother, ignoring my condition for several years,. The pain was debilitating ,I was forced to do colon cleanses for years to have any sort of life. He gave me back my life. Thanks Doc... It's his arrogance that saved our lives!

Dr. Rogers is a man of his word. This one man showed more compassion for our son than all of the doctors and specialists we have met combined. He gave us hope which is more than anyone else has ever done for us!! God blessed us when he brought him into our lives! Thank you for everything you have done for our son which includes going above and beyond just medicine. Words will never express how truly grateful we are!!

DO NOT use this surgeon. He performed surgery on me in 2005 and I am still suffering because of it. He is ARROGANT and condescending. He left town to go to a convention when I was in intensive care because of his negligence. Look at his record of moving around the US.

Cannot say enough about the time Dr Rogers took to spend with us. Not many Dr have the courage to be upfront. We were in need of honesty and professionalism and cannot be more grateful for Dr Rogers. He was extremely patient kind and caring. Very thankful that we had him through our difficult time.

While I'm sure that Dr. Rogers is a knowledgeable professional, he is rude and has absolutely no people skills. I was recommended by my general practitioner to go to this office--I will be advising my family doctor of this man's behavior (or lack thereof.)He sent me for a CT scan through St. Mary's hospital, with no further directions than to get the CT scan. The radiologist there told me that taking the iodine injection was option, therefor I declined, as I was concerned about having a possible reaction to the injection. The radtech nurse contacted Dr. Roger's office before the CT scan was started to inform him of this, waited to make sure that I was okay to take the scan, and then proceeded. When I visited Dr. Rogers for a follow-up appointment the next week, the man all but threw a tantrum over the fact that I hadn't taken the injections and went on to lecture me like I was a small child.Apparently Dr. Rogers forgets that his patients are paying customers. I will not EVER return to… his office and I will make efforts to tell any friends and family of mine not to visit this office if they expect courtesy of any form. This man has forgotten that he serves patients, not the other way around. Hopefully he will remember.
