Dr. Michael John Martynik JR., MD

Dr Martynik was personable enough up to the point when my wife asked him to work with my doctor in Pittsburgh. His comment "she's not in charge of this." Fair enough, but I am on a blood thinner that his office told me to stop for 7 days prior to a surgery he planned. My doctor in Pittsburgh informed I couldn't be off of it more than two days without being at great risk. She referred me to a colleague in Pittsburgh who did all tests in his office and I drove home. The surgery he had planned was unnecessary to say the least. The fact that I paid $200.00 for his incompetence adds insult to injury. I did complete the survey Penn Highlands sent and was not surprised they never contacted me.

He is more worried about how my treatment affects the amount of work he has to do. Very rude and lazy.

I would like to take this time to speak of Dr Michael Martynik who is an exceptional urologist.I have been going to him for many years and have only great things to say about the man.He listens,cares and spends much time with patients.He comes across more like a friend and his bedside manner is superb.These are traits that aren't easy to find in a doctor and am glad that Dr Martynik is my urologist and am recommending him to everyone out there.

overall, a great doctor, very funny and caring

Can't get you out of the door fast enough, and very poor attutide. Would not go back to him.
