Dr. Kevin Michael Hibbard, MD

Dr Hibbard is one of THE WORST doctors you could visit if you have chronic pain. Is absolute refusal to help patients with pain and the notes that he leaves for patients that are not his, but are seen in the same office is borderline illegal. He will put that a patient is seeking drugs or ssy that they are on more medication than they actually are to make them look like an addict. Something needs to be done about this so called Doctor. He lies, and does not help his patients because of his own personal beliefs of opioids.

Dr. Hibbard is so great. I had a rhizotomy and he knew I was nervous. I was treated with such compassion and care that I wanted to kiss him when it was over. I also worked with him regarding pain management. Dr Hibbard realized that my mental illness medications could be reacting with my pain medication. He actually spoke to my psychiatrist about possible serotonin syndrome. He goes above and beyond. I love him and the Butler location.

My first experience with DR Hibbard was great ! He did my first lower lumbar injections... I have two herinated DIC and nerve damage... It worked extremely well... He was kind. And explained every step along the way. When he's back in Erie pa. Again he is my only choice. The Dr after him failed

This person is the prime example of a license which needs revoked. Why someone would choose a career specialty of pain management with absolutely NO desire to treat patients is beyond me. He's condescending and has zero empathy, refuses to listen to anything you say and will continously repeat the same statement over and over. The "doctor" only wants to bilk you and your insurance for cash they offer no alternatives other than invasive injections and implantation, they bill millions for injections but actually writing a script doesn't pay so they refuse to prescribe meds you've taken for 20 years. He needs to go find a job giving lethal injections because he would enjoy that since he gets pleasure from causing pain and misery.

Very Rude and Ignorant

just now I wish this man would lose his license. I told him about 7 times that I was allergic to NSAIDs, so he gave me Celebrex, which is an NSAID. I ended up in the er due to is inability to listen. I called the office to report that I was in the ER and inw was a told, "he only takes call for emergencies. An allergic reaction isn't an emergency. He was arrogant and kept telling me that the 2 neurosurgeons I saw were wrong and I need surgery

The same 5 incompetent, rude, insensitive Dr. at all locations. Greed is the only reason they have 12 locations. RUN AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A PRACTICE. They put me in a wheelchair after my 2nd visit.

Wow very sad how a Pain management doctor has no compassion! Another pain patient being punished and called an addict. I would not waste my time on Advanced Pain Management or any pain management. Years ago Dr. Sutherland claimed he was an anesthesiologist. I am 99.9% sure my nerve pain and pain that shots down my leg is because of him. I am so thankful U never let them give me shots in my neck. I could not imagine where I would be today. The only ones now that give me shots is my orthopedic surgeon. These anthestiologist in these pain management places do not have the education to be treating patients with back or neck pain. They didn't go to school for that. More patients need to be aware of this!

He has zero compassion or patience for anything alternative to opioids. He doesn't believe patients can do their own research, will not entertain any discussion otherwise and will expel you from his pain management program without a second thought. He won't provide you with a proper taper after kicking you out, instead his office will mail you a letter saying "you might be addicted" and give you the number to a rehab facility. It's abhorrent. Avoid him and his practice if at all possible.

My first visit I found this dr., friendly, explain the procedure so I could understand, talk to me through it. He taught his assistants as he worked. He knows his stuff and he is really good at it. I highly recommend.
