Dr. Dyan Sharone Hes, MD

I just watched a clip on a new study on Covid19 and its effects on children. Before discussing the study Dr Hes spent a minute downplaying the content of the study, and making a case for sending kids back to school with out once discussing the content or findings of the report. She mentions it, denigrates it and then pushes her own agenda with out any information about the report or its findings. Then when called out on this continues to make the case for everything being okay. The way she discusses this and downplays children's abilities to transmit to adults is dangerous. Downplaying the danger is dangerous. ALLWAYS err on the side safety. don't down play the dangers. And seriously, asking 6 year olds to keep a mask on all day and stay away from each other... get real

As of 7 years ago, I have brought my two children to Gramercy Pediatrics. Not once was I dissappointed with their service! Dr. Hes is an excellent doctor and diagnostician. I would reccomend her to anyone who would like the best care for their child!

Always thorough, super knowledgeable and generous with her time. Her associates are also great!

Rude and obnoxious. She was over 2 hours late calling us back as the on-call physician, then was rude on the phone as if she was doing us a favor calling in a prescription for our sick 9 month old. Avoid this practice at all costs, plenty other great groups in NY.

The nurse at the office is kind, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Hes is the opposite. After waiting w my infant to see her for over 30 min, she made it my fault that I had to wait. After confronting her on not returning my calls, she again made it my fault that I was not essentially harassing her, since her "kids play with the phone and sometimes delete messages." At one appointment, she came in looked in the baby's ears and abruptly said "I can't answer any questions" before leaving the room. I am surprised at the other comment but wonder if it was when she was at her old practice. My daughter is no longer her patient and the new pediatrician is much more accommodating and personable.

Dr. Hes is an amazing doctor. My son has been a patient for the last 3 years and she is warm, compassionate and caring. My son has Autism and while verbal doesn't always communicate effectively what he's feeling. She does not rush, has a wonderful relationship with him and talks to him not at him. While I wish she had a better administrative staff, I continue to see her for the excellent care she has provided my child.
