Dr. Dylan Adamson, MD

Dylan Adamson, MD, is a transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon specializing in transplantation of the liver and kidney. He also has expertise in minimally invasive living kidney donation and surgery on the liver and pancreas for cancer or benign diseases. His training in general surgery allows him to consult on end-stage organ failure and transplant patients in need of a hernia repair or other complicated abdominal problems. Dr. Adamson was drawn to organ transplantation due to the truly transformative nature of the field. Dr. Adamson prides himself on his bedside manner and providing patients with an honest and transparent discussion of the risks, benefits and alternatives of the proposed surgery. It is through these open conversations that he feels the necessary trust develops for patients to feel comfortable under his care. His work has been presented at various national academic meetings. He has served in various educational roles and has a particular passion for education in medical and surgical trainees.
