Dr. Dza Tran delivered my first child 5 years ago and I just found out hours ago that I am pregnant with my second child. I Immediately went to look up Dr. Dzu Tran to make sure he was still practicing locally and was thrilled to see he is. Being new to Seal Beach at the time, I accidentally stumbled in on this clinic that was not at all what I had hoped or was looking for. I decided to go ahead with my appointment and it ended up being a life changing event for me. I was so impressed with him as a professional and as a person. He was genuinely interested in helping my pregnancy along and made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I was a high risk pregnancy and genuinely believe I gave birth to a healthy baby girl because of his expertise and care. With Dr. Dzu Tran's experience and education, he can work anywhere yet he chooses to work in a clinic located in a low socioeconomic area... truly shows what kind of person he is. My family and I were so lucky to have found him! Truly a salt… of the earth human being. I look forward to him delivering this new bundle of joy!

This doctor is so unprofessional and disrespectful I have filed a complaint with the Medical Board of California. I was appalled that this doctor is still allowed to practice medicine, especially in this field given his arrest record for spousal abuse. This public record can be viewed on Healthgrades.com. Not knowing this, I was referred to him by my primary after being violently sexually assaulted to assess my ultrasound and determine possible permanent physical damage caused by the assault. I had to ask the staff to close the door to protect my privacy from the patient waiting area while explaining the very sensitive matter as to why I was there. Dr Tran began his pelvic exam and allowed his female nurse to walk out of the room while he continued his exam. He refused to look at the ultrasound and blood test results that I brought with me then rushed me out of the room and was done with me after about 6 minutes. Having anyone look at or touch you after being assaulted is very… difficult, but being treated this way by a doctor with this lack of ethics and empathy is deplorable.

This doctor really disappointed me. I made an appt. with him because he was the first available doctor that was available since I needed to see someone ASAP. I am a high risk pregnancy and have suffered from multiple miscarriages. When I saw him, I told him about my past history and my current situation. He gave me an ultrasound and suggested that the date that I told them might have been incorrect, how in the world would I miscalculate that?! I specifically wrote it down the day when I started my last day of my period. And then he had the nerve to tell me that he thinks that I will be losing this pregnancy as well, just because I lost my previous ones. Is this guy serious?! What kind of doctor will tell a patient that especially knowing how sensitive the matter is. He had no proof and reasons of why this pregnancy might not be successful. I will not be coming back to this doctor again! He lacks ethics and empathy. Horrible.

He's very nice and caring. I just don't know why patients come here to ask for Dr. Co but not him. He's patient, caring and always listens to all problems and answers questions quite well. One thing makes me hesitate to visit his office is the staff of Bolsa Medical. They're conceited and rude. You should be prepared to wait for hours in front and in waiting room after that.Anyway, Dr. Dzu is an excellent doctor. He should have his own clinic for us to visit easier.
