Dr. Earlexia Montoya Norwood, MD

After plenty of research I chose Dr Norwood as my PCP two years ago. I saw her for my initial appointment which was scheduled for a physical. Every time I tried to get an appointment after, she was booked months out I’m talking 3-4 months. I’d call for an appointment and every time I’d always see another Dr. My second time seeing Norwood after choosing her as my Primary over two years ago was last month. She just so happened to have a cancellation. My appointment was at 8:00 A M she came in my room at 8:42 and my appointment was rushed! I was very disappointed. I came in for chest pains and as I attempted to ask a question regarding something else I was dealing with. Her response as she rushed out the door was that my appointment was scheduled for chest pains only and that she has to go, another patient was waiting. I’ve never experienced anything like that and was very disappointed.

I saw Dr. Norwood from when I was 7 until I was 25, she's an amazing doctor. So kind and considerate and knowledgeable, and always comes to every appointment having reviewed my history and remembering everything--- conditions, issues, prescriptions, family history, everything. She's exactly what you would want a doctor to be.
