he only gave me meds for anxiety, ocd and depression. I had a bundle of mental health problems which he refused to acknowledge, treat or just straight up changed the subject. I told him i was having multiple panic attacks per day and he did nothting. He eventually prescribed me panic meds that did not work, and after a month of being on these meds, still having daily panic attacks, I told him it wasnt working and he just said "keep taking them". He always asked me the same 4 questions while writing and rarely made eye contact. When i would try to say something, he would look up seeming to be very annoyed that i was talking to him. He would always bring up self harm (which i told him not to do) and ask to see. He is very hard to understand due to the fact he mumbles thru me and my family members appointments. He would not tell me any side effects of the medication i was on. I genuinely felt and still feel neglected by him. He told me to "just go to therapy" for the other things I would… bring up. I told him that i thought i had bp, i told him my symptoms and he said they were not valid (I am now on bp meds that work great) The staff is not the best. Hazany sees patients who arrive alot later then me. The pharmacy sucks and has messed up me and my family members prescriptions. Hazany was the polar opposite of what i needed. Waste of time, waste of money. See someone else

Kindness and caring, but in actions, through process and treatment and encouragement, (not just word) is what makes this doctor effective. If it wasn't for his support I may not be alive to tell this story. If it was not for his cognitive process and humanity I would not have been able to transition into the next life stage of becoming a teacher, and a mother ---this should speak volumes. Sometimes we have to be vulnerable and trust , in order to break down the walls that impede us. It's hard enough to find the right therapist in this world of quacks, and beaurocratic ghosts. I've tried. If you are suffering, and looking online like I did, looking for real authentic professional help, search no farther than Hazany.

I did not feel comfortable with this doctor at all! He made associations between events in my family life with minimal information. I experienced a traumatic psych event, went to a local hospital, which sent me to COPE clinic for follow-on care. At the time cope clinic was just one doctor Hazani - may still be the same. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues with the front desk people. However Dr Hazani made so many quick judgements about me in 1 hour! He referred me to a male doctor, but I didn’t feel comfortable with a male doctor at all. There were no other options given. It was not a discussion point because my issues were related to my dad. I have since found an extremely experienced and competent female - and thank God every day for her support.

He is the best. Always caring and professional. I have been seeing him for 8 years and I would not want another doctor

Dr. Hazany is willing to listen, takes my complaints seriously, has agreed to see me on the spur of the moment on several occasions, always returns calls (even on weekends). He's kind and caring.

I have only tried to call and get information. Why does the phone lady have to be so rude and irritated all the time? Have her get some meds by the doctor. Because THIS IS NOT OK.

Dr. Hazany treated me for severe depression and the new meds I'm on appear to be working fine. I feel much more like myself. They say the 1st visit is 50 minutes, but it's more like 40 and they say the subsequent visits are 30 minutes and they range from 15-20. But overall, Dr. Hazany is as good as anyone else in the Ventura County area.

Overall, this facility was disappointing. I brought my wife here, after reading their website, as the answer to our prayers. My wife was already anxious about making the drive, but after reading their website, we both felt this facility cares. The doctor had horrible bedside manner, using analogies such as you wouldn't pay a driver to drive you and then watch the road. Or don't worry about what medicine you are taking, that is the doctor's job. Very disappointed. The Office staff made things far worse than I could have imagined. How does the office staff of a psychiatrist feel she has the ability to give opinions about a patient to the patient's family? Very unprofessional and probably unethical.
