Dr. Eddie Richard Nassar, MD

As you can see through numerous of other reviews, the staff at this office are wonderful, especially the nurse practioner. However Dr.Nassar fails not only in being a pediatric provider but as well as having any empathy towards children. Dr.Nassar dismisses your concerns as a parent and therefore often treats patients wrongfully. This is my experience, and one that I hope NO parent or child should go through. I only hope that this brings light to Dr.Nassar and he realizes how he failed, but more so how he needs to change for the best interest of his patients. On Thursday night my son slipped outside with his dad on a slip and slide and hurt his leg. We knew clearly something was wrong and immediately took him to an urgent care clinic. There my son was seen and evaluated and we were told based off of the diagnostic's performed they were unsure as to what was causing his pain, none the less we were advised to follow up with his primary care provider for the next available day. Luckily we… were able to schedule an appointment for Monday afternoon. Throughout the weekend my son was bed bound and clearly continued to be in pain unable to move and apply any pressure whatsoever to that extremity. However we felt relieved knowing he would soon see his provider. Monday came around and prior to Dr.Nassar performing his assessment my Husband advised him that my son(whom is only 2 y/o) is in excruciating pain. At that point Dr.Nassar began to perform ROM VIGOROUSLY to his right leg without any concern for his patient or his pain. My son ended up being in so much pain (screaming/crying) it got to the point where he urinated all over the exam bed and himself. Dr.Nassar clearly was upset and was heartless enough to not have any regard for my sons agonizing pleas but instead made an inappropriate remark "Is your son even potty trained?"(He is and has been for 1 year now). Dr.Nassar walked out of the room disgusted and didn't return. Only a referral to be handed to us to follow up with an orthopedic specialist. As time went on overnight my son could clearly could no longer tolerate the pain, that is when my Husband to him to UMC where we were advised that he had a spiral fracture to his tibia. Can you imagine the amount of pain my son has endured throughout this experience? Can you imagine as an adult having someone twist, bend, and pull on your leg and you not having the strength to fight them off or speak up for yourself? I have lost all respect towards Dr.Nassar and from one parent to another please avoid ever putting your child through this.

I’ve taken all of my children to Dr. Nassar for almost 10 years. The office is clean, his staff is excellent, and he is polite and professional.

Dr. Nassar is great! He listens to my concerns and is amazing with my kids. We are very happy we go to him.

The staff members responsible for making appointments and billing are apparently not on the same page. NOT happy at all with the way I was treated. I can only say that the medical staff in the back including the NP seem to have manners.

Dr Nassar is one of the most considerate and compassionate pediatricians my family could imagine having. He displays exemplary knowledge and devotion to the care of our children. I highly recommend him to my family and friends.

I like this Dr. Alot I like the fact that when I ask a question he'll let u know the best option for ur child and not sugar coat the answer. I don't need a Dr. That's going tell me what I want to hear I want a Dr. That's going tell me what's best for my son. As soon as I show up within 5 min I am received, the staff is super friendly. And I think its a plus when my know it all baby mom goes and tries to flex her motherly knowledge and Dr shuts her up common sense

He makes you feel like your questions are stupid and his answers are short and to the point and just not informative (he does not explain himself). It seems like he feels that he is doing us a favor and he forgets that we are his clients/patients.

Dr. Nassar has been a blessing to our family, specially my son. He has gone above and beyond to guarantee my son's health and safety. We will be forever thankful. Thank you Dr. Nassar!

Found Dr. Nassar on recommendation from a friend. I met him before I gave birth and he seemed super nice, and present in the moment. In the hospital after I had my child he was the same way. Though he didn't encourage breast feeding and he's quick to suggest going on formula. Now a couple months and appointments later, plus add in forgetful staff and a rude after hours call back, our opinion has changed. My husband didn't get to meet him before I gave birth because he was deployed, but the first thing he noticed was that Dr. Nassar didn't seem to care about us as people or my son as a patient. He walks in says hello then doesn't even look at you, he's just doing things on his iPad. It seems like he has no concept of bedside manner. When we went for vaccinations, he didn't administer them, he wasn't even in the room. This was all after waiting over an hour. The one receptionist is very rude in the front as well. You can tell by the in and out of the "patients" that they care more about… making money than actually getting to know their patients. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even remember our child or us at the appointments. Maybe the older he gets the better his office will get. However, we are not sticking around to find out. What happened to the friendly, caring doctor I met when I was pregnant? Oh yeah he hooked me as a patient so I guess he thought manners could go out the window.
