Edgar Morris Boyd

When Boyd first started practicing in Muskogee, he told me that my throat issues were in my head and not to come back to see him. I ended up with surgery to correct my issues which was Hashimoto's disease causing the tumors on my throat. Later he did tubes in my grandsons ears that had to be redone and my grandson, Bren, was an extremely hyper 3 year old (he was already on medication) and Bren was running amuck in the office for sure but Boyd told me to leave with Bren and not bring him back to see him if I refused to discipline him and make him sit still in the examination chair. Boyd actually told me that I needed to spank Bren (it was already tried) and make him mind. I am not sure how anyone would consider Boyd to be a good and understanding doctor.

I am amazed that Dr Edgar Boyd has received so many five stars. Let me tell you about my experience with him. When he first came to Muskogee I went to him for a persistent dry cough. He told me that it was all in my head and that I needed to not bother him anymore. I had other doctors to further testing and I have major allergies. Fast forward to about 9 years ago to my grandson having to have tubes put in his ears. Dr Boyd did this. The first set fell out so a second set was required. Bren was about 2 years old at the time and already diagnosed with ADHD. Dr Boyd told Ben to sit in the examination chair and he wouldn't mind him. Dr boy looked at me and flat out told me that if I didn't spank this child and make him mind but I did not need to be bringing him to his office as a patient. Spanking does not help my ADHD grandson and I told Dr boyd. Bren and I left and we never looked back. I think he has a terrible bedside manner. Was too bad experiences with him, I don't think this man… needs to be practicing unless his bedside manner has definitely improved

Dr. Boyd is very knowledgeable and thourough. He has tons of knowledge and takes time to listen and problem solve. Very professional! Great bed side manner!
