I liked the setup of having doctors office, dentist and eye doctor all at same location. I was even willing to give the medical side, operates only by nurse practitioners without a doctor on sight, a chance. Only 1 person working very hard at checkin. Room full of sick people all upset for long wait times, only 1 nurse practitioner. 2 hours later, 1 more office staff shows up. Still waiting for medical so saw dentist, in and out in 30 mins. Then had to start all over waiting for medical again. Waiting another almost hour, I was supposed to be next, nurse practitioner finally comes out and walks right past. I asked her how much longer. Told to wait again someone would be over. I was done waiting. I respect the strategy of this doctor having multiple locations and billing based on nurse practitioners, I respect the business strategies, but SERVICE is horrible and the face of the office staff shows embarrassment. Doctor Cardenas, this location bears your name, your responsibility. The… trade off to accepting nurse practitioners is supposed to be less wait time not more.
