Dr. Edgar Gilbert Handal, MD

Dr. Handal is by far one of the better doctors I have visited over the years. He is caring and works with you for the best treatment on an individual basis.

Dr. Handal and his staff are wonderful, and have referred him to many people. He preformed Knee replacement for my mother on both of her knees. She was in such bad shape, it was hard to even imagine she was able to walk. She had gone to many doctors before him, and they wouldn't even consider taking on her case. If you ask me, Dr. Handal doesn't look at skin color, he looks at bones, and even though, many saw no hope for my mom, he preformed miracles and gave her a pain-free existence and quality of life she hadn't had for many years. Dr. Handal is old school and prides himself on his workmanship, he goes strictly by word of mouth reputation, and if you are fortunate to have him as your Surgeon, consider yourself in safe hands.

Dr. Handal is an excellent listener and studies your circumstances before proposing any options. There are few doctors who strive to correct orthopedic problems that have occurred as a result of previous procedures by other doctors. His mission is to correct and restore.

Dr Handal corrected 3 bad surgeries to my knee. The 4 done by him was nothing short of a miracle. He's a wonderful and kind and a lot more positive words that would take a lot more space than I have. He spends time with you like he doesn't have anyone waiting for him. He's the best. It's hard to find a doctor who will take up someone else's work. God love him for taking me on.
