Dr. Edgardo Cruz Martinez, MD

Dr Cruz evaluated me during a recent emergency room visit when I suffered a stroke. He was very knowledgeable, compassionate and kind. He throughly explained everything to me. I feel so grateful and blessed he was on duty that day.I really needed such a caring doctor at that time. I can highly recommend him and his stroke team.

My father had him as a doctor at MRMC Ocala, FL. This Dr. was rude, did not care, and was not informative. We rarely knew what was going on. We didn't know if my father was getting better, worst, NOTHING. Then he took my father off his pain Meds cold turkey. Because of this, my father was going through withdrawals along with all the other problems he was having. He ended up in the hospital for almost a month, being tortured. So, thousands and thousands of dollars later, my father is still not doing well and there was zero REAL resolution to what was wrong with him. This doctor has NO compassion for his patients. If you happen to get him as a doctor at MRMC, RUN. ASK FOR ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST! You have the right to have great medical care, especially for the price tag that comes along.

Dr Cruz Martinez was very thorough in his examinations and explanations. I am sorry that he left his Ocala practice and did not leave a forwarding address or phone number.
