Dr. Edita F Extra-Mendoza, MD

My pharmacy faxed them twice for a prescription refill and they never responded. Hence no pills. I called the office and they said they couldn’t promise it would get done today!!!!! Somebody’s dropping the ball there.

I have been a patient of Dr. Edita Mendoza for many years. Her attention to detail is excellent. She saw signs of prostate cancer in my numbers and with a digital examination. The cancer was caught just in time and the prostate was removed. Without her skills my situation would be many times worse.

I liked Dr. Edita Mendoza but her staff is totally incompetent. When I complained to the office manager, Dr. Mendoza fired me as a patient instead of addressing the problem with her staff. Perhaps her staff is related to her? I can't imagine why she would ignore her staffs obvious, glaring, inadequacy otherwise?

I have never experienced a more incompetent staff then those who work at Valley Internal Medicine. They make mistake after mistake after mistake so it takes forever to get the most simple tasks completed. You may wait two weeks to get an RX filled, you may wait two weeks for them to give you referral to another doctor and so on. Oh, and don't complain about the staff's errors and incompetence. Dr Edita Mendoza and her office manager, Roxanne, deal with this massive problem by firing the patient instead of firing the staff. Save yourself a ton of aggravation and go anywhere but Valley Internal Medicine.

Nice to have someone to write scripts but if you need medical care, your chances of getting any attention are slim. Too many patients no time to provide medical care

She is one of the most thorough physicians I have seen and she listens. She isn't condescending and spoke to me as an adult and not a child.

NO I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR AGAIN MY TITLE SAYS IT ALL, REPORTED THAT I HAD KIDNEY DISEASE -- NOT.- WHICH MY ENDRO SAID NO WAY. HAD INSURANCE PROBLEMS WITH HER ALSO, TOOK EIGHT MONTHS TO GET IT CLEARED UP !!

I have been to this Dr. 3 times. I like the Doctor but I had to wait for my first 2 appointments a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes. On my 3rd appointment I scheduled it for the first appointment of the day, at 8:00 AM. I arrived at 7:55 and still had to wait until 8:40 to see her. My wife waited for an appointment for 1 hour and 15 minutes and then had to leave for another appointment. Even though she had checked in they still billed the insurance company for HER missing the appointment. I'm sorry, I accept that occasionally someone will be late, but not all the time.

She is wonderful. Sometimes you have to wait longer. But remember she will give the person before you extra time that they need. Some day you may need it too.
