Dr. Edmund J Decker, DO

Simply the BEST! I have been going to Dr. Decker for 25 Years and would not go to anyone else. He is always very thorough and caring and explains everything in detail.

Doctor Decker is a wonderful person and a great doctor. I've been going to him for 37 years. He really cares about his patients.

Dr Decker has been my doctor since he took over the practice from Dr Silpe in Maple Shade. He has a calming bedside manner and always knows what’s wrong. Every once in a while I see him at Shop Rite or Wawa and he is the same kind unassuming doctor.

I've been treated by Dr. Decker for a little more then 6 years. I believe the level of care is exemplary. Yes there are times that things are more rushed however I'm aware the staff must adjust in order to serve the needs of many, a skill easier said then done. In my experience the staff is patient, kind and very efficient. As far as making one MINOR billing error in 25 years, I'd say thats a pretty good track record. Dr. D and his staff are very loyal in serving their patients well.

I started seeing him at his old private practice, and was very happy with his treatment and bed side manner, and his entire staff. Unfortunately, since he joined Cooper practice, the quality went down. The wait times are long, time with the doctor is extremely short, most importantly staff is rude, disorganized and incompetent. Sadly will have to look for another doctor.

Dr. Decker is a great person but I soon found that he has fallen into the Cooper Hospital corporate trap! For the first time in over 25 years, his office (Cooper Hospital) applied a coding of a "Level 4" or code: 99214, to my bill for a simple office visit ( Neck spasm) which 'doubled' the amount of my visit charging me now $234 instead of $116! After a demanded an investigation Cooper Hospital's customer service rep, Ms. Tina Jones had an investigation conducted and afterward I was simply informed that the 'investigator' "agreed" with my charges, although no results in written were afforded me why I was charged at a 'Level 4"? In fact, Ms. Jones failed to tell me what a "Level 4" office visit entailed ? I had to go on line to research this myself and will now be taking Cooper Hospital and Dr. Decker to court to resolve this issue. Want my advise, go elsewhere for your medical needs!

Doctor Decker is amazing! He really listens to all concerns and what works best for his patients. He explains everything and doesn't make you feel like an inconvenience! The staff is also very pleasant which is hard to find at doctors office I have noticed. I call in my sugar numbers every week so most of them know my by the sound of my voice. Can't ask for better care than that!

Very nice staff. Very clean office. Dr Decker sits down with you and will answer any questions you have. He covers all details in your medical care. I am glad I found him and his staff.

Courteous staff. Caring, helpful and informative. They listen to you when you call and follow up with how to proceed. Dr. Decker has been my primary physician for many years, and I always receive excellent medical advice and support.

Now that his practice has been taken over by Cooper Hospital, staff is not very professional & very rude. wWen my health worsened, I was advise by one of Dr. Decker's office staff to go to the emergency room & was told "good luck with that," at the end of he phone call. I have had 2 appointment in a 9 month time frame. My father was a doctor & I had worked for him for many years, so I am familiar with how patients should be treated & followed up with, which made my find another doctor immediately. What is the sense of having a doctor if you are not going to be treated or seen for a medical issue that needs to be handled by a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, which would be your primary care physician, unless you need to be referred to a specialist. I did change doctors within 24 hours of that experience with Dr. Decker's office & also filed a complaint with my insurance company. I am not one to go to doctors for every little problem, but when something last more than a week, then it's time to go… to the doctors to be treated.
