Worst doctor ever, average waiting time is up to 45 minutes. Unfriendly and arrogant. He was not willing to answer questions, showed no sympathy for his patients. He looks like hate his job, we will never go back to see him again.

Dr Kim severed my vocal cord during surgery and is now passing me off to a pulmonologist because my breathing (under exertion) is still affected by the trauma. Four months after the surgery he now says I likely had vocal chord function Issues before the surgery. As a lifelong distance runner, I know this is not true. Go see Dr Shindo if you need ENT support. Her ratings are higher.

I couldn't have had a better doctor or outcome. Every nurse, technician, or other doctor that I saw during this made comments about how good he is, like you've got the best. Amazing surgeon.

My recent experience with a thyroid lobectomy procedure with Dr. Kim exceeded my expectations with respect to the excellent care I received from him as my surgeon, and from his staff the entire way through the process. An unexpected but necessary surgery was made far less stressful than it could have been with Dr. Kim in charge of my outcome. If you need a highly skilled surgeon with a caring and compassionate bedside manner, then Dr. Kim is the surgeon to call!

I had him remove half of my thyroid for a suspicious tumor. I'm not sure whether or not it was him or the hospital to blame, but I had quite a bit of post op bleeding which was noticeable since they had a tube in my neck. They closed it up the day after surgery anyway, and sent me on my way, even though a couple of hours after surgery my neck was starting to swell. By day three, my neck looked like one of those cartoon frogs and was purple and red. I could barely move and it stopped growing so I figured I would ask him during my one week follow up.. Well, when I removed my scarf, he looked shocked and horrified. He wanted to remove some of the blood with a needle, but that kind of just poked a hole in it and it oozed for another few days and I kept having to change bandages on it. It took over a month for it to go away completely, and since it was so stretched out, I have "old lady" skin on my neck.. not something you want in your early 30's. I can say he was good with everything else,… but I only found out later that this complication is pretty rare and can actually suffocate you if it gets bad enough. I guess I'm pretty lucky I didn't die.. on a positive note, my scar looks good! But now I wish I could have plastic surgery on my neck. :(

I had an office visit to check on some Thyroid issues and was recommended for surgery..Dr Kim was very kind and explained the entire procedure to me back to front. I think he was very compassionate, concerned and extremely competent. I know I will be in good hands with him for surgery..

I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone. He was very kind and thoughtful to my mother on our first visit. He performed surgery to remove a tumor and did an excellent job. He checked in with us and with her after the surgery. He has a wonderful manner and is very knowledgeable.. working with a renowned brain surgeon to perform the surgery. He is a fantastic doctor.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Kim to anyone who needed the type of service he provides. He is thorough and caring in his care of me. He takes his time and makes sure I know what he is doing and what to expect in upcoming care. His staff is friendly and efficient.
