This man doesn't listen and doesn't care. You're in pain? He brushes it off, doesn't even bother with a diagnosis. You don't matter to him and nothing you can say will make him pay attention to your problem. Is he just too old and outdated to believe that things he can't see can still hurt? Or is he deliberately callous and careless? Impossible to say, but the outcome is the same: no help, no compassion, and no basic human decency are on display in his office.

I was chastised for being 10 minutes late by him. I live half an hour away and got a flat tire on my way there. The proceeded to walk the rest of the way there. He didn’t really listen to what I had to say about my pain. He just kind of ignores you. I told him about my history, another doctors diagnosis, what that doctor prescribed. And he just blows you off. He seems to be under the belief/opinion that if he can’t see a condition visibly than it’s not real. He was in short very rude. Bedside manner is horrendous. I have fibromyalgia and am in pain constantly. I asked about anything to help the chronic pain I was experiencing. Just for him to ignore me and say that if I wanted pain medication I had to get it elsewhere. It felt very accusatory. He treated me as if I was some druggie. When in reality I am in a lot of pain. The staff was amazing. They were all very nice and welcoming. Shame that the Rheumatologist is rude.
