Dr. Eduardo Leal Meirelles, MD

I sent to Dr Meirelles 4 yesrs ago after having an MRI done because of severe neck pain . My Dr. Sent me to him after finding out that a disc in my neck had ruptured and was pressing into my spine which was causing massive pain and numbness down my arm into my hand. I was going to go over to Seattle to have surgery done instead of having it done here in Yakima. But after talking with Dr. Meirelles in great length he changed my mind. I have never had a Dr. Spend 3 and a half hours with me explaining exactly what had happened to me and how he was going to fix this problem. I was completely comfortable with him and his knowledge of what he does. He had me in surgery within 5 days to fix my neck. His team was absolutely the best at what they do, from Jennifer and the girls at the front desk, to Laura dealing with the insurance to the Erica and the surgical team. He has the best staff of caring and helpful people I have ever seen, I was very fortunate and greatful for them all. I have… sense had 3 more surgeries and am finally getting back to a normal life thank to him. My husband has also had one of Dr. Meirelles more difficult surgeries and he no longer suffers from arms going to sleep . I could go on and on about Dr. Meirelles and his whole staff of some of the most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If I ever have to have any other spinal issues , I will only go the Dr. Meirelles. Eddie Meirelles is like none other!

Dr. Meirelles and his staff are kind, patient, thoughtful, and caring. I never felt rushed during my appointments. Dr. Meirelles and his assistant Zach always made sure all my concerns were addressed in regards to my back pain. I would highly recommend them.

My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Meirelles for neck pain and back pain. I was impressed with the ease of obtaining an appointment and all of the friendly staff. I always thought excellent medical care is only possible in larger cities such as Seattle and I was proven wrong when Dr. Meirelles and his team more than exceeded my expectations. Dr. Meirelles spent adequate time reviewing my images and suggesting the best options for treatment. The following day after my consult I was able to be seen for pain injections by Dr. Meirelles that eliminated my pain. I would suggest Dr. Meirelles to anyone and everyone that suffers from spine conditions.

Dr. Meirelles and his team have provided me with an experience that is hard to find anymore, let alone in a medical office. They made me feel like they cared and were truly interested in what was the best treatment for me as an individual. I suffered from back pain for many years due to a car accident. Post accident I was seeing a chiropractor for three years. My pain was relieved for a short period but was never eliminated. Based on a suggestion from a co-worker I scheduled to see Dr. Meirelles who specializes in spine care. From scheduling my first appointment to post-surgery, I was treated with great care, and I could tell that not only Dr. Meirelles but his entire staff cared and treated me as an individual and not just another patient. My appointments were never cut short due to time and Dr. Meirelles, and his physician assistant always made sure all of my questions were answered. They thoroughly explained my treatment options and plan. Post-surgery I was checked on daily by the medical assistant or a member of the medical staff to ensure everything was going well. I was able to go back to work a few months after surgery due to the excellent care of Dr. Meirelles and his medical team. I would highly recommend his… office to anyone who suffers from back pain.

Everything about this clinic is very positive. The receptionist at the front desk was a very courtious , professional young gal. She knows her job well and was able to answer all of my questions. Dr. Meirelles is a very attentive, intelligent surgeon and I would highly recommend him.
