Excellent Physician, Caring, considerate, informative.

Dr. Agura did my stem cell transplant, and totally let the ball drop at about 8 mos afterward. He was nearly 2 hours late for a recheck. He did decide to show up for the next appointment, but was an hour and a half late for the one after that.I left the office, without seeing the doctor, after waiting these outrageous amounts of time. I would have left earlier, but I don't drive, a fact he was perfectly aware of.One other thing that really outraged me was that the nurses and his special coordinator were all aware that I was sitting in a room, and were probably also aware that Dr. A. was nowhere to be found, and never mentioned it to me, even after numerous trips to the desk. and a request that they email his coordinator, no one said anything to me.Now I'm stuck finding another doctor who is familiar with stem cell transplants, and is willing to take on a new patient two years post transplant.
