Dr. Edward Tharp Bope, MD

Dr. Bope was my physician from the time I was a student at Ohio State University until after I retired from state employment. I found him to be a doctor who cared about my well being. When my young daughter's face began to swell and break out in blisters my wife and I took her to an emergency care doctor. He prescribed an antibiotic that failed to halt her symptom. They only got worse. We ended up taking her to the emergency room of a local hospital. The doctor who saw her prescribed another antibiotic. This too failed to halt the swelling and blistering of her face. When her eyes swelled shut I called Dr. Bope's office and asked if he would see her. He accepted the visit and saw her the day of my request. He determined that she was having an allergic reaction. The prescription he wrote cleared up the swelling and blistering in a few days. Our family will be forever grateful to him for helping us with his care and knowledge.
