Dr. Edward Laurence Boyce, MD

Dr. Boyce is very knowledgeable and thorough. He can apply years of experience when treating and formulating a diagnosis but also he stays current on the latest research. He removed a melanoma from my friend's arm and there was very little scarring. Can't say the same for the work done by the dermatologist.I read a review where the doctor allegedly said "she's a goner" about an ill patient and pumped her full of morphine. He is an articulate, INTELLIGENT and spiritual man and would never say such a thing. Also, he is careful with the pain medicine that he prescribes so that sounds inconsistent also. I actually like that he considers the possibility that a patient could become addicted to drugs. I have found that although he is not perfect (who is?) Dr. Boyce does "the right thing."

I highly recommend Dr. Boyce. While I think he could be a bit more aggressive with his medical care, he is thorough and attentive. He is a good listener and readily gives good advice if other medical specialists are necessary. I have been seeing Dr. Boyce for more than 20 years and know him as a highly professional yet caring physician.
